I knew this was going to happen! Poor guy came home from school coughing and is now running a fever. He didn't want to eat dinner, so he's going right to bed. I hope this can pass before Sunday. It would be awful for him to start out vacation like this.:sad1:

I feel for you.

Our DD was sent home from daycare today with a fever. :guilty: We leave Saturday at 7am....:faint:

So sorry your DS is sick! We don't have a vacation planned until October, but my DS was home sick from school today. Woke up in the middle of the night vomiting and has had a fever all day. He did not want to ruin his perfect attendance, but so much for that!!!! I will probably be home with him tomorrow again. I substitute teach, and I got 3 phone calls this morning! I couldn't take any of them!!! I was so bummed! But family comes first and hopefully my DS will feel better by the weekend! Hope yours does too!!!!

My DD got sick the day before we flew to Orlando for a MYWWD week at WDW last year. She was throwing up until around dinner the night before we flew. Made the flight ok but then sick again that night at the resort. Then DD #2 got it night two!! It was rough.

The resorts do not have Lysol so if you have means to get it (pick it up before you go). Get the rest of the family on vitamins and handwashing. I have to say, once I go tth ekids in the sun, all seemed to be much better!!

Good Luck.

My prayers are with you.
My 13yr old DS had a "cough" for a few days before we left over Thansgiving week. Of course, I threw some cold medication in the luggage. The VERY 1st NIGHT, the "cough" got incredible worse.:sad2: That "cold medication" I packed was for every symptom except for a cough. I ended buying 3 bottles of Robittussin at the resort store for about $8 each.
On the way home, we went from the airport straight to the hospital clinic. My poor son had acute bronchitis and an ear infection. HE was such a trooper!! Any of the rest of us would have collapsed.
