We leave in ** 50 ** Days!!!

And DH and I are having such a good time messing with our 16yo son!


DS thinks we are going to Idaho to visit FIL. We keep mentioning how we doubt we will even have cell phone service as FIL always lives out in the country.

At dinner the other night we were talking about our future trip to "Idaho" and DS said that it was my own fault (I keep complaining that we should have done Disneyland instead) and that we should just have a real vacation instead. I asked where a "real vacation" would be and he said "Like Disneyland or Universal Studios or something like that".

I told him that it is all about doing the right thing, and visiting family is the right thing since we already made plans and they are expecting us. And that hopefully we can go to Disneyland during Spring Break if we save up enough money.

This is so fun!! I need to make sure I hide my travel folder now though. If he finds it while looking for a piece of paper or something the whole surprise will be ruined.

DH and I are looking forward to seeing the look on his face when he figures it out. It will be priceless!!
