We Leave for HHI and DH has Herniated Disc!!

I can't believe this We have been planning our first ever DF HHI vacation for months. I spent the day with DH in the ER yesterday for a herniated disc. He is in so much pain, I am not sure we will be able to go. We leave in less than a week!!
Oh my, I don't even know what my options are

I would start by calling MS to see what your options are at this point. Explaining the entire situation perhaps they can do something. I can't imagine your husband being able to tolerate the flight in his condition!

I had the same thing happen to me about 4 days before my first trip to DVC as a new owner. When I called to cancel, they let me bank the points even though technically it wasn't allowed. The CM was very nice. I believe it is a one time courtesy.

I also was able to change the flights and not pay the change fee because I had a note from the doctor that said I could not fly.

Good luck to you and I hope your DH feels better very soon! I know how painful that is.

So sorry to hear that about your DH. I do hope he feels better.

I know we always wanted to spend some time in Hilton Head in the summer but have been pretty unlucky. Before you cancel, if it comes to that, maybe someone from the rent board would be interested in your accommodations last minute. I know I would if I knew the details. Living in VA we have a bit of flexibility to just get up drive there.

But sending you some that everything works out and you can still go as planned.
