We just saved $70 on our rent-a-car

We booked in November with Alamo for our upcoming trip 1/15-1/30. We booked an intermediate with Alamo for $412 for the 15 days which I thought was a good price!

This morning I checked Dollar an an intermediate with them is $342 so we are saving $70!

If you have a trip coming up and are renting a car. I would go back and check rates again!

Yup, I did the same thing today. Saved about 40 bucks off the original ressie with Alamo. $140 for a week full size with BJ's code and coupon.

Oh, just for ha ha's I checked the Alamo site with the code and coupon I have from BJ's for your dates. Int. car was $323 and a full size was $344. If you have a BJ's near you or have a membership, you can save even more.

Thanks Gretchen! We do have a BJ's here, but I'm not a member and I think the membership cost would offset the savings.

But I didn't even know you could get a discount with BJ's. I've been considering joining lately, so that's one more reason to join to add to my list!

You can access their rental car discounts by going to http://www.bjsvacations.com/promotion/bjs/carrental/default.asp

There are coupons and codes right there. I am a BJ's member and the offset to the membership is right there.

I just did this at National, the EA is great. The $313. is a little better than yours and you do have to join EA, it is free at Mousesavers.com. And you have to combine a coupon.

I am going for 9 days in the same time frame so I knew I could get a good rate.
