Except that Disney wants that foreign cash and if you ever leave the US... you will find that the anti-smoking lobby is not quite as efficient. Disney bans smoking and runs the risk of those $$ going elsewhere. The mouse is greedy and does not want those Euros, Pounds, Pesos etc heading to the dark side.,

Disney may want foreign cash but it can't survive on it alone. Here in the U.S. it is more and more becoming a social issue for smoking with more and more places enacting stricter tobacco laws. It's the evolution over time (considering how popular the image of smoking was in the middle of the 20th Century). This is more pressure for healthier options for a person's life in general (fitness clothes are now in abundance, organic food options, low calorie options on menus, healthier alternatives to foods [i.e. apple slices for children as a substitute for fries on a happy meal] stricter tobacco laws, etc).

During our last trip there were visitors smoking all over the place in all the parks. More so in World Showcase.

Everyone has there own likes and dislikes.. I love MK & AK and could skip EP & HS! My 2 oldest love HS!
Guess that's why I love Disney because there is something for everyone!

I do wish they would lower their food prices... a burger and fries should not cost more than $7 unless it is at Le cellier

We are in the minority OP. As a former smoker I get where you are coming with with regards to the smoking sections. As annoying as it is, at least Disney has SOMETHING there. I really hope they don't ban it altogether, I think that would be a little too much.

Disney is also very expensive but a tip would be to buy kid meals. They are surprisingly filling!

Totally depends on the location... Around me, most of the "meals" are $7-$8.

I think that were a lot of the different view points on pricing occur, that meal in north jersey is almost $9 bucks. When me and the gf went to Disney the first time we were pleasantly surprised at how close the restaurant prices were in comparison to where we live.

We were there June 4-10, and the crowds that week were actually less than I expected...

We were there from 6/9 - 6/22 and I agree. I was surprised at how light the crowds were.

I guess it's a lot of your expectations. When I am at a public pool, I expect there to be annoying loud children and children that splash. If its annoying/loud, I get up and move and not let it bother me. With life, it's best to not sweat the small stuff. It's best to realize that you can't do anything about other's peoples behavior and best to just accept that.
