I've seen the new rooms and you won't be disappointed! Can't take pics yet as those rooms aren't open to the public but they will be sweet. I much prefer the change. I'm a bit partial but I do love the BW
We haven't stayed at the YC (it's on our list!) but we have stayed at the remaining deluxe resorts. Even without a rennovation, I think you'd find BWI is terrific. Have a good trip
TigrLvsPooh-
We will say hello if we see you. Hey..I see that you are from West Lafayette. My hubby went to Purdue. We live in the Chicago area now. I can't wait to see the new rooms. Hopefully we will bump into you.

Right. Ditto. Well, my intentions probably weren't quite as good-natured as WDW4us2006 - there was definately some sarcasm in my post. But I don't begrudge anybody anything they have and I wouldn't wish you anything but the happiest of trips. I guess I was just trying to say that if your biggest worry right now is which concierge level room is best, well I think you're doing OK. I'm doing OK too. I might end up staying at a value next summer, but I hope I can come up with the money for a CR garden wing. Either way, I'm doing OK. Maybe not as OK as you, but probably more OK than most.
Have fun, but don't get so wrapped up in having the perfect vacation that you don't have a good time. Remember, there are thousands of people having a good time at the values.
We love the values! We stay at Pop all the time (see my sig). My post had really nothing to do with value vs. deluxe, it was more about construction and worrying about possible noise, hammering, scaffolding, etc. Since it's our 10 year wedding anniversary we are splurging more than usual... and if I'm forking over big bucks I sure don't want to have a jackhammer going off next to my head every morning. I just hope by switching I haven't risked being in the middle of a mess. I'm sure you can understand that BostonRob. And by the way, my husband's from the Boston area so I can handle pretty much any comments or opinions you want to toss at me. If fact when I first saw your post I thought you might be one of my brother-in-laws back in Boston giving me a hard time!!!!
If this was your first trip I might advise you to switch, but from the looks of your resume in your signature, I think you can afford to "gamble" a little. Relax and enjoy. If any problems do occur, I am sure Disney will compensate you in some way.
Thanks! I love posting reports with pictures. For me it's so much easier to really get a feel for the resorts... and since the rooms will be new I'm sure lots of people will be dying to see what they look like. I know I am!
I have some of my trip reports saved... others I lost the link for when my computer crashed a couple of years ago. But if you go to my most recent live report from BC (link below) and scroll down to the second post you'll see the list of all the reports I've been able to salvage by using search. Probably our best experience at Pop can be found in our "Fan's Guide Walt Disney World" report. But I think I have other Pop reviews as well. We've stayed there many times.
