Continued from previous post...
Before I knew it, I was back at my sweet little spot, eating ritz crackers and relaxing. It was probably my favorite AK moment and it gave me a better appreciation for AK.
I just sat there and relaxed while Marc went on EE twice.
He LOVED it! He said it was awesome and he just couldn't wait to ride again later.
We decided to hit up the Pangani Trail. I gave Marc the camera, it was so hot and I had the bag so I thought it was fair.
At our first stop to look at animals, I found a wonderful fan to cool me off. Can you see it off to the side? I decided to hunt for fans and then enjoy the animals!
I love the bats! They are so cool!
I think the tigers are my favorite though. We watched this tiger climb into the water. It was so cool to see him move like that. It always amazes me how cats of all sizes move so much the same.
I made Marc get this picture because Sully does this at home. He lays down and then puts his paw up on something be it the
It's so relaxing in the bird area...except the birds. They should just go away and let me enjoy the pretty area.
After the trail we debated going on Kali but I just didn't feel like getting wet when I was wearing jean bermuda shorts.
So we meandered and I took a few pictures.
We decided to walk towards Dinosaur and then I heard the scariest words ever come out of my mouth....
"Let's ride Expedition Everest."

I don't know what I was thinking. Marc assured me in line that it was no worse than Big Thunder Mountain.
They offered us the front row and I declined and sat in the middle.
You know how they say a picture is worth 1,000 words? I think this picture says it all.
MARC IS A LIAR!
That ride is NOTHING like BTMRR! Nothing! I was terrified from beginning to end. Tracks moving? No thank you! Going backwards? No thank you!
I can't even begin to describe my terror. Even as I write this, my heart is thumping reliving the moments.
I will never never never never never EVER ride Expedition Everest again.
NEVER!
By the time the ride was over I was shaking, I could barely get up. When I did I just stood up and walked to the exit, kept walking right through the gift shop and just sat.
Marc finally found me after he took the picture, laughing his head off at me. Which I did not find charming. He asked me if I saw the Yeti. I said no. He said it practically swiped my head, I think he's lying to me but I have no recollection of it whatsoever.
Never again.
Marc asked if I would ever ride it with my future children, I said no. Never again. I will not put myself through that torture again.
So there you have it....I hate Expedition Everest.
Coming up...
You are kidding, right
