We have the best Guide!!

We went to Disneyland last week and stayed at the Grand Californian..not only did our guide meet us at MIDNITE when we arrived with our premium passes, he got us the suite that we wanted after I was told it was sold out..and to top it off had our room made special for our anniversary!!!

We did not find out until yesterday, when we got a tour of the Grand VIllas, let me say AMAZING and we cannot wait to buy into those...that our guide was the one that made the magic in our room!!! I cried..I was so touched by his thoughtfullness..he has been great this entire time. I know its his job, but he does it amazingly well!!! Apparenlty this was the first time he had this turn down done, and found he can get it done for anniversarys, weddinds, bdays etc..so that is cool for future use!!!

How wonderful for you two! That is absolutely beautiful and you're right! How thoughtful! He definitely went above and beyond! That is teh type of Disney Service I am so looking forward to as a new DVC member! I hope our stay will be just as magical! You have a great memory to keep there!

It's funny that you posted this, we will be at the Grand all next week, and It will be our anniversary on the 4th. Unfortunately, We will have the kids in the room with us!!!

We have always enjoyed the service at the Grand Californian. Even though it is very similar in design to the AKL and WL, it is the Disneyland resort's flagship property, so the service would be more comparable to the Grand Floridian. (and, unfortunately, so are the prices)

Reminds me of the treatment that the High Rollers get down our way in Atlantic City. It must make you feel awfully special!
