We are planning on a trip in the beginning of Feb. of 2009. We will be staying for 7 days, and also buying the annual passes. Our question is do the resorts offer special rates for FL. residents and if they do, anyone know how much we can expect to save ? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated !!:woohoo:

They do have deals sometimes for Florida residents - haven't lived there for a few years, so I can't remember.

Go on the official WDW website and there's a link at the top somewhere for Florida residents -- if you click on that, it should take you to whatever specials they might be having for Florida residents and you can get an idea.

Yes they offer Fl resort rates but its too soon to get rates for Feb. Also when in Feb are you going. Value season ends Feb 12 and then begins peak season. Just go to Disney's site and click florida resident its on the top part of the window toward the right.

Are you getting APs or SPs(seasonal pass)? In case you don't know the difference APs are good year round. SPs have blackout dates. Mid June to Mid August, Just before Xmas to just after New Years, and the week before and after Easter. APs do include parking SPs do not. APs are 359 per adult SPs are 239 per adult. They are both good for all 4 parks and park hopping. We bought APs once but never went during the blackout time anyway because its too crowded. Also if you can concerned about finances buy a 3 or 4 day FL ticket between $129-$160 plus tax and you have 6 months to upgrade it to an AP or SP but the expiration date will be when you first used the ticket not when you upgraded. But only the 3 or 4 day can be upgraded within 6 months any other ticket you have 14 days. We have done this in the past. Got the 3 day with parking hopping and upgraded it during the next trip. 1st trip I paid about 150+ per ticket and then on the next trip just paid the difference. If you have any further questions I'd be glad to help.

There are FL resident and passholder discounts on rooms but like the previous poster mentioned those rates wont be out probably until late november to december for feb.
