Michelle has gone to another job with DVC. I wish her much success, she's a very friendly, up-front lady and I enjoyed dealing with her and chatting about her family.

Our new guide is Michael. Well, we're viewing the Aulani video next week, he just sent us an invitation.

Any other fomer clients of Michelle who now find themselves with Michael?

Michelle called us a while ago to let us know she was taking a new position. I am so happy for her. She is so lovely. We have not heard yet who is our new guide. The latest info from DVC still listed Michelle

Our guide has been Michelle McA******* for quite a while. I assume that is the same Michelle?

If you call your Guide and her phone extension is still active, then she is still your Guide. There was an internal problem over at DVC regarding incorrect members being notified that their Guides have left. Those who get this type of message should contact their current Guide to see if he/she is still there. Good luck! :)

I called Michelle's number as given in the newest e-mail, and I got someone who did confirm that we have a new guide, and Michelle is doing something else. She cannot understand why we got the most recent e-mail. In my file there was an account of the call that we had gotten on Monday.

I wish Michelle much success.

We just found out that our new guide is our old guide:banana: I was bummed when we lost Michelle but am also excited to have Michael back:banana:

How did you find out? We have begun getting mailings from our new guide.

I wonder what's really going on. Michelle was a special lady, but I am not sure that we will be buying many new points direct from Disney.

We had sent an email to Michelle awhile ago and she must have forwarded it to Michael. He emailed us back yesterday (while on a cruise!) . We are lucky because both Michael and Michelle are great so it has been a win / win for us with every change:rotfl2:
 
While I'm pretty sure we're not going to be adding on, I have to say I'm a really disappointed that Julie Veras (Hughes) has left AND we still have no idea who replaced her. I would have thought that all of Julie's clients would have been contacted by now so the new person could "introduce" themself. Unless her account was split and we got the "short end" of the deal!! :lmao:

Since I've been called directly, and it seems that Michelle's clients have heard from DVC, it is strange that you haven't been told about the change that affects you.

Hi Bobbi....I found out Julie left here on the board! Never heard anything from anyone at DVC.
 
Well I bit the bullet and called DVC. First spoke to Jose who chuckled because according to him "they are now trying to assign Julie's clients to new Guides" and he connected me to George who was pleasant. He appologized for the delay saying "Julie had one of the largest accounts" and that was about it.

I'll be receiving his contact info soon and we just chatted for awhile.

So now I know; George is my guide!! :rotfl:

We had Julie too. Does anyone know where she went? We received a phone call from a new guide, a girl/lady, telling us she was our new guide. I didn't speak with her my husband did. So of course he doesn't remember her name. The only reason he answered the phone, he said, was that it came up on the caller id as Disney Aulani. Kind of funny. We won't be adding on so it doesn't really matter much. Just always curious. If she had the largest accounts, wonder why she would leave..............
 
I had a call on my machine last week to call DVC about some changes that affect my account. At first I thought that there might be a problem with my two BCV reservations for F&W in November. When I called back the person who answered (can't remember the name) said the call was to tell me that my guide had left the company and my account was reassigned. I said "Larry left the company?" and after some paper shuffling he answered that yes he did, but he would put me through to my new guide, George, for a quick "Hello." Quick it was! About 20 seconds and it was over. George seemed like he was reading from a script and was a little confused. Overall, I was disappointed.

Hummm...wonder if it was the same George I spoke to yesterday. While our conversation wasn't brief, it felt "awkard" on his part; like he didn't know exactly what to say. Then again that could be partly due to the fact that I asked why weren't Julie's accounts being notified that she left? Oh well...the chances of our adding on are very slim but at least I have a "name" now to call should I want to.
