Our experience with Fastpass+ was very positive from March 25-31st. We are a family of five with three kids ages 10-3 years old.
The advice I received here worked very well for us. We ended up tweeking some of it towards the end of our stay.
I know a lot of people are focused on rope drop, which we did do most of the time. My kids are troopers are able to handle long days in the park. My three year old would take a nap in the stroller and that worked well.
We began to realize that by having our fastpasses booked for the afternoon and staying later really maximized what we were able to accomplish.
Animal Kingdom for example would thin out after 5pm with most people leaving. We were able to ride expedition Everest back to back with out fastpasses three times in a row due to the low crowds.
Magic Kingdom on evenings when it was open after the fireworks we were able to walk on to most rides. We tried to get into Story time with Belle on three different days and the line ups were crazy. We eventually made it in on our last day just before park closing. The CM"s were begging people to come in as the wanted to do one last show and needed a minimum amount of people. It was excellent we loved it!
Pro's being able to schedule your favorite rides later in the day. A few times the kids swam in the morning and we were still able to ride our favorite rides.
I liked being able to change times or experience when available. (we Were there at a peak time so that was not always an option).
I am a planner so I liked being able to book rides month in advance. It added to the excitement.
Con's
During busier times changing rides/experiences is not going to be an option.
I don't like the tiering.
Would like to be able to book 4-5 passes a day.
If anyone has any questions ask away!
