We Had a Great Time at 1900 Park Fare (Video Included)

I had gotten some not-so-great reviews of 1900 while I was planning, but I booked it anyway. Someone's trash, right? I know how everything boils down to perception, and I know we've hated things others have loved and vice versa. Well, I just wanted to give my thumbs up to 1900!! We had dinner there after our first day at MK, and it was so fun!! The characters were GREAT!!! We loved the stepsisters.

The food was pretty good, too. DS is very picky, and he ate quite a bit at this buffet. Everyone was making fun of me for being excited about the strawberry soup, but once they tasted it... Isn't that how it always goes? Make fun of the DISer, but then you realize all the planning and little secrets are so worth it.

CP was our "usual" restaurant, and we'd hit it every trip, but if 1900 continues to be as fun, we may have a new regular stop!!

We've done CRT, and, honestly, I liked this a little more. Princesses are great, but the sisters are hilarious!! I, as a grown-up (eww), was truly entertained at this meal.

Aww, thanks! I didn't think it was award-winning (except for the strawberry soup!), but I thought the food was pretty good. The characters, though, definitely made up for anything lacking!

I'm not sure who will be more excited, her or us!!

I just have one question, if you don't mind......what did you use for the autograph books? they didn't look like the normal small autograph books....

I use the pictures from the kids' previous trip to make photo books (on Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc.), and we use those as autograph books. The kids love them because they aren't just little white papers with autographs, they're photo albums they can look at over and over. They also get ridiculously fabulous character interaction. I always feel sorry for the people behind us at a restaurant or a meet and greet because the characters and handlers are always flipping through the books and chatting up the kids.

You're welcome!! We'll definitely be going back on our next trip. They were great. DNiece (Cinderella in the video) has decided she wants to be Anastasia next time (and she really wants DS to be Drizella, but I don't think he'll go for it ). Hope you have fun!!

It is her first time and I'm so afraid I'm going to just start crying right there when she realizes where she is !! I can hardly wait. What an excellent idea putting that book together! that's such a nice memory book for your kids that means so much more than just the plain autograph book!!
