We got the kids good this morning

I was trying to think of some April Fools jokes and this one went over quite well. When DH and I woke up, we both put on our bathing suits and went about our daily routine, one by one the kids woke up and we told them we were headed to the beach, mind you it is 36 degrees and raining The 4 y/o completley fell for it, ran upstairs came down in a bikini and proceeded to put her black go-go boots on cause its still cold outside Too funny.. The 7 yo started to buy into it but realized it was a joke. (seeing me in swimsuit is really a joke)

Then I had hollowed oput some oranges and glued them back together, so when I cut them in front of the kids they were empty.. They all fell for that.

Well I guess this proves I really do have TOO much time on my hand

Wanted to edit that the 2 year old could not have cared less! He was happy just hanging in his swim diaper.

I completely forgot it was April fools! I'll have to think of something good to pull on my 8 y/o DS when he comes home from school!

How about having your luggage sitting by the door (doesn't have to be full!!), and tell him to hurry up and go grab anything you might have forgot to pack him..............because you forgot to tell him you were going on vacation!!
