We got our BWV add-on!

Wa hoo. We got back from Hilton Head yesterday and we had a message that we got our add-on at BWV. Our use year is August. Our Disney guide said it was a dash for the points, but she got them for us!

So now we own at VWL, BCV, and BWV. Ya hoo!

I've been reading as much as I can to learn about DVC, but I still don't understand this part. Why do you want to buy points at different places w/different use years? Sorry for sounding like a dummy, but well, I guess I am . . . . .

Congratulations!!! We just got our 50 pt. add-on at BWV too. Close on 8/18...we'll be in BWV at that time. Think we'll celebrate!!

What's the saying. "one man's triumph is another man's sorrow" ??? Our guide called to let us know he put in for an August BWV add-on for us, but called back the next day to say we didn't get it. I guess we finshed 2nd in the mad dash for the points. The kids cried all night long when they heard we lost the points. Just kidding! Our boy just turned six months old, and although I wouldn't be surprised if he thought the alphabet started with D-V-C, he hasn't quite grasped the add-on concept yet.

We already have 200 BWV points and I told our guide to look for a BCV add-on but that we might consider BWV down the road. He called to say he put in for the BWV points and wanted to see if we were interested, if not, he would just withdraw the offer. We decided we would take it, but it was all for naught when we didn't get it. No hard feelings though, we'll get our add-on soon, congratulations and enjoy your points!!!!!!

TZmom, it's the same use year, August. We like our points at different locations because of the 11-month booking window. We happen to like Boardwalk's standard view and that's why we wanted some points at Boardwalk. We have most of our points at VWL (as that is our most favorite location) but Beach Club and BWV are right up there, too. We bought enough points at the other locations to assure we get that good ole home resort booking window. If you don't care where you stay or can't plan more than 7 months ahead, it doesn't really matter I guess. Now that we have the BWV points, I don't have to worry about the competition at the 7-month booking window for the days we want. I get to book ahead of the crowd.

Skip Wiley, hang in there. Our guide said she had to race to get 'em and was surprised when she got 'em! We would of took BCV or BWV, but I'm really glad we got BWV because we wanted to be able to book a standard view studio in May each year for the flower show.

We own at the same DVc resorts as you but have to admit that the BWV is our favorite and we have the most points there. You will love having points there.
