We got accepted!!!

Just got an email today from my broker, Disney accepted our offer. We bought 350 pts for 67 a point. October use year at the Boardwalk.

I don't know who is more excited, the hubby or the GROWN children.

Can't wait to go "home"!

And thanks to all for such wonderfull insightfull information on these boards, without these boards we would have NEVER bought into the DVC.

I'm so envious. How long did it take to get your approval? Our agent submitted our offer (305 BWV April YU @ $69 ea) on 4/7. So, it's been 10 business days. Will we have much longer to wait for an answer?

We submitted our offer on March 28 for a BWV resale, and it was approved by Disney on April 16. Now, do they wait for your downpayment check before sending it to Disney? Not sure. I mailed my 20% down that day also, but it probably took until April 2 to get there. If that is the case, then it was 2 weeks... So you should be hearing soon.

I was now told it would be another 3+ weeks before closing...not a problem for us though. We were just at BCV in March.

It took about 2 and half weeks to get a reply from Disney. We submitted on Match 29th and i sent the deposit on April 1st. And once you get disney's acceptance it will take about another 2 weeks for all the paperwork to come through.

From what i have read it seems we got lucky at the price of the points and Disney's acceptance also.

I can't wait until October!! all our points become available.
