We got a FREE upgrade at AKL!!!!!

We had a standard room with a parking lot view reserved (we also requested a king size bed). When we got there, we were upgraded to a king bed room with a savannah view!!!! The room was GREAT!!!!! I really enjoyed this room and the resort. Any questions?

That's awesome!! We're staying at AKL in Feb. and have a standard room reserved. We're hoping (but certainly not counting on) getting an upgrade! Send me some of that pixie dust you've got going on!

We are staying at the AKL in July, and booked with the Dream Maker Package, I think we requested a king bed, but not sure.

How do they decide who gets the upgrades, and who doesn't? Does it all depend on when you check in? Our flight gets in fairly early.. It's our honeymoon, so I don't want a double bed room...

I'm just a wanna-be Disney Princess at heart!!

We checked in at midnight.

There are less than 10 rooms with King size beds so if I was you, I would call quite often and tell them that you REALLY NEED the king size bed. Good Luck.

The rest of the trip was great! We did MK, MGM, and Epcot. Not many lines. i thiink the longest we waited for anything was 5 minutes.

I did not like the Buffet restaurant at AKL. To me, it was not worth the money.

The Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK was delicious and was not very expensive.....

AKL is very peaceful and right now it is my favorite resort.....

me too!!! we were upgraded to a savanah upon checkin for the entire 2 weeks stay at an AP rate !!!

cant wait to go back !!!
