 Is there a smilie for bittersweet???? We finally listed our DVC with TSS and now I have seller's remorse - I want to keep it! Just wanted to thank everyone here for all their great advice, support, and group hugs. I am going to hang out here while I still can - we haven't sold yet. THanks, again for all your great advice and I will definitely refer the new owner here for all their DVC needs !!! :grouphug:

I'm sorry you are selling, but you picked a good company to list with! The Timeshare Store sold one of our contracts, and it sold the same day they received the info on it. I had a check in my hands in just slightly over 3 weeks! It was relatively painless, but, like you, we hated to sell. Come back and visit here occasionally! :D

If you are selling to stay home with your kids, your are making a sacrifice worth more in the long run. We waited to get our DVC until our kids were 17 and 19 and we will still have many years to enjoy it with them and their children who aren't even considered yet. Hang in there.

You can always buy again when your life situation changes. Look at it as a "temporary" state of affairs.

Once a DVCer, always a DVCer. You'll need to keep abreast of what's going on, so when you buy points again in the future, you'll be up-to-date!!!!

You never know what's going to come your way. If staying home with the kids is your reason, you'll never regret it!

DH and I bought into DVC at 50!!! Good things come (or come back!) to those who wait!!

Good luck and stick around.

As always, you all are too kind  We do look forward to a day when we might become DVC members again. Maybe we'll win the lottery - oh wait, that's not in the budget :D . I think I will hang around as long as I don't get too homesick. I'll live vicariously through you all while we cram ouselves into the All-Stars. Thanks again!

Yikes...Don't cram yourselves into the All Stars. Rent points instead!

Everything is in the eye of the beholder. We had a wonderful eye-opening experience when we took "honorary" nieces to the ASMo. Everything about the place was wonderous to them, and DH and I took a deep breath and relaxed, we had been too jaded to appreciate what we had.

Bobbi :D

DD-6 loves all sports.

I think the magic is being there, with family. We bought DVC because it is a luxury, which we wanted. But it doesn't make or break the trip. The important part is being together.
