Two co-workers told me this morning that we're crazy for doing this....that if we don't mind working the rest of our lives to go for it. The way I see it is that we know we're going to work for at least another 10 years anyway and since we'll have it paid for by then but the use for another 40 years (by which time we'll both be in our late 90's!) it's not a bad deal.

Is the negative response from some people just based on other timeshare experience? I know it's a commitment and alot of money and we aren't rolling in it by any means....but I researched all weekend and just can't find a downside to this at all.
