I think I am sold on the Kindle. The iPad just does not seem like a good option for me because I already have the iPhone and I still view it as just a bigger version.
My only concern with the Kindle is something that another customer told me when I was at Barnes & Noble last month. I was talking to a friend about the Kindle vs. the Nook and a man (who was not an employee) came up to us. He mentioned the recent issue Amazon was having with book publishers and their concern over pricing. He then said that even though much of that has settled down, less publishers are going to offer Kindle versions of their books because they feel Amazon sells them for a lot less money than they should be charging. Do you think this could really become a problem in the future? This guy and his friend seemed to think so. With all of the e-readers out right now, why don't the companies just make one version that works on all of them, iPad and Kindle included?
