We booked our very first trip to WDW. We are going February 2-9, 2010. We are so excited.

You know I didn't think about this before but is it any cheaper to fly on a Tuesday instead of Monday? I booked it for Tues - Tues but I am wondering if flying out on Sunday or Monday would be about the same price.:confused3

Depends on the season like holidays and spring breaks.:) I always book on Tues. or Wed. because I find it less money. ;) It's on a rare occasion that I find a Sat. to Sat or Sun to Sun flight for a good price! The weekend,Mondays and Fridays seems to be more expensive!! Think you picked one of the best days to book a flight. :thumbsup2 Did you find that Tuesday was the cheapest day to fly for the dates you need??

I follow airfare on SWA and the fair is def cheaper on Mon-Thur with Fri-Sun being more expensive and those are their heavy travel days, this per SWA. I have been watching airfare EVERYDAY since I booked in DEC for our June vac and did find airfare for $86 to Orlando :woohoo: Sign up for various airlines web specials, Keep watching and happy hunting!

I thought I had checked airfare and that was why I went with Tues-Tues. But then I started wondering why I had picked Tuesday and thinking that I was going to have the boys out of school for too long. We are leaving from Vegas, since the rest of my family lives there. I checked SWA and I think they have more of a selection of lower rates on Tues than on Mon. I think everyone comes back from long weekends on Monday.

I have signed up for SWA Ding and also American Airlines DealFinder. Are there others I should look for.

$86 is a great price. I hope I find something like that. SWA doesn't have there prices up for anything past August 14th yet.

I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)

Congratulations on booking your first trip! Look forward to hearing more about your vacation plans :)

I think you did the best thing with signing up for SWA Ding. I looked for weeks and weeks prior to booking and found $74 as the lowest fare. I thought that was a wonderful fare UNTIL sitting here one Saturday afternoon and a DING popped up. Our return flight that I was watching from Orlando to New Orleans was down to $59  and of course I bought immediately. Two round trip flights for $308 :woohoo:

Congrats on booking your trip. You won't be dissappointed.
