We had booked the Beach Club in September with free dining (standard view room) after changing from two rooms at PO-FQ and later to a 1 bedroom at the BWVillas. It is a special graduation trip for my daughter and her best friend. I have been checking daily for a 1 bedroom at the Beach Club Villas on the WDW website without much hope. They kept kicking us back to Old Key West or Saratoga Springs. I am sure these are wonderful resorts, but they don't have Stormalong Bay! We were concerned about 4 of us (including two teenagers who want thier privacy) staying in a regualr hotel room (even at the Beach Club). When I came home from work tonight I entered my usual request (1 bedroom at the BCV with free dining) and was completely shocked when availability was offered. I jumped on it. Now for the questions. Does anyone reccomend one view (Epcot, pool, garden) over the other one? I have looked at several comments/photos and we would love to have a full balcony. I know the higher Epcot view rooms will have a better view of the fireworks and possibly Epcot, but I read somewhere where an upper floor garden view room had a view of the Boardwalk and MGM. The pool views also look good as compared to the Epcot view on the lower floors. Does anyone have suggestions about room requests for the BCV? Any help would be appreciated.

Hooray for you!!! :cool1: I can't help you with the room view, but I do understand how good it feels to have the choice pop up -- the one you really want -- so I'm happy for you and wanted to say so!

Have a great vacation!!:yay:

The BCV villas are in a separate building than the BC resort. The villas were not a part of the original hotel, so they had to be built at the front of the resort to the left. Because of their location you won't be able to see the BW or SAB from them. There are rooms that you can have an obstructed view of Epcot, a court yard, or the villas pool.

Congrats on getting the hotel you wanted. We'll be staying there next March in a studio, and we're super excited :hyper: .

here is a good site for BCV www.parkinfo2go.com as far as locations ,floor plans etc. i am alsos pretty sure all rooms at the BCV have full balconies or patios. Some of the full balconies are slightly larger ( I think they are corner rooms not sure...see floorplans)
