We decied on BWV- offer made this morning!

Well, we did it- we just put an offer on 150 points at BWV!!! Now I guess all we can do is wait and see if Disney and the seller accept our offer. IF all goes through and according to plan, we should be able to close and book our first trip HOME by mid-January

Well, we have found a great deal online for a BWV resale, and we are calling tomorrow about them!! I am kind of bummed that we probably won't be able to get into BWV this October for our honeymoon, since we won't be able to book until we close on our points. Since that is during F&WF I know there is very little hope, but I will be on that waiting list, believe you me! If not BWV, SSR here we come...I think

Here is some pixie dust

I was able to get a 1 bedroom at the BW during Easter week April 15-22 for all 7 days, just 2 weeks ago and that was at 5 months out. I was also able to book a BW view studio (my 1st ressie that we upgraded to the 1 bedroom because we had to use our Developer points) at 9 months out and BW view studios are hard to get.

Also in 2006 we were able to get a few nights at the BW in a BW view 1 bedroom at 4 months out.

I hope you get to stay at the BW!!!!!

We own at the BW and had the same decision as you as to where to buy. At that time they were only selling SSR and I was on the fence when my guide said, well we also have the BW for sale. OMG!!!! The BW!!!! We bought that day even though we got 12 less years and higher MF's. But, we just love it there. The best part is being able to walk home from Epcot after Illuminations and not have to wait for a bus or boat!!! Same with DHS, although the walk is a little longer (it would be so cool if the tram could come by and take us to DHS). And then once we get to the BW the evening is NOT over!! As the BW comes alive at that time.

We just bought more points at BLT for the same reason. Being able to hop on the monorail after the MK is just priceless to us.

IF all goes according to plan, we are planning on a super long honeymoon- 12 or 13 nights Hopefully the BW will be available for at least a few of those nights. Figners crossed, we shouold be able to book by mid-January, so at least that is before the 7 month window opens to everyone else.
