On what to do on our Honeymoon! Thank you all SO much for the advice, feedback, and opinions on things! So this is what I am going to be surprising DH with.

- A gift basket with a dancing Stitch and candy. :)
- A MK Fireworks Cruise.
- A cake for his sweet tooth and a fruit basket.
- And I was so bummed the find out that the Dolphins in Depth Tour had been booked up already so they told me about something else! WERE GOING SURFING!!!

THATS RIGHT! ME! Who is afraid of the ocean will get to surf in Typhoon Lagoon! Surfing is something DH has wanted to do for years but we never have because I am seriously petrified of water. The ocean actually, not pools. YOu see when I was 5 years old I saw a man less than 5 feet away from me, while my mother was holding me, get his arm bit off by a shark. My mom clamped her hand over my mouth and froze as it swam by within several feet of us and lets just say this left a lasting impression of what can happen to you when you are only waist deep in water at Myrtle Beach! ((The guy was alright by the way in case people are wondering. My mother is an OR nurse and was able to help him before more medical help arrived, and they salvaged his arm thank the Lord. :goodvibes )) I am just really excited about this though b/c I know how excited DH will be to try surfing finally! :) Who knows, maybe if I like it enough I'll brave the water again!

After that we will be going to Gettysburg for 2 nights.

I seriously considered the Discovery Cove option, but decided that my history buff husband (who also acts like a fish) might like the Gettysburg thing a bit better since we will be in the water (even shark reef, somehow I get myself into that every year) for the majority of our trip to begin with!

Thank you all so much again! I just wanted to share my excitement before we leave in 4 days!!! :bounce:

Hmm... I think it's really up to what you would like to do more. I think the Wishes cruise and the tour would kind of be a nice touch to a Disney honeymoon, and allow you and your DH to have some nice alone time. But if you really want to go Discovery Cove then you should! I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you decide on, you'll be in Disney afterall! :sunny:

I say go for the second choice! Snorkeling in the Living Seas sounds amazing. I always admire those people whenever I see them :) But then again, discovery cove sounds great too! Go with your heart! :-D Have fun deciding!

I would choose the second option. The Wishes cruise & snorkeling in the Living Seas would be such memorable and romantic experiences to have on your honeymoon, and you probably wouldn't be inclined to book those again on just a regular visit. However, Discovery Cove, while also memorable, can be booked on any old trip (given your budget will allow ;) ).

You can't lose with either option, really. I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter which you choose! :goodvibes

I would go with the second option. I've never done any of the things in either option, but the second one seems to have so much more for a similar price. That's just my opinion and either way you'll have a great time just being in Disney! :flower:

I love both options but having been to Discovery Cove and swam with the dolphins, snorkeling in the reef and seeing the beautiful things we saw I say go for it, totally amazing and well worth the day.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for all the input! :) Were still mulling everything over in terms of our options but I think I'm going to start posing "Hypothetical" options to DH. Basically this will be a surprise for him (as much of one as it can be) with the money I saved to surprise him with things. Right now he thinks were just going to WDW and not doing anything extra. *smiles slyly*

i would definetly do the wishes cruise, we did an illuminations cruise & it was so magical & private. i would also recommend discovery cove or the dolphins in depth tour at wdw. we did discovery cove in cancun which was great swimming with the dolphins & we did the dolphins in depth tour at disney which is an educational encounter, both were such great experiences. snorkeling is fun but you could do that on most island vacations so i would go with the dolphins & wishes cruise.

have a great disneymoon!
