We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, we go home happy. What do ya say?

Cool! I'm sure that all the walking you'll be doing will makeup for all the yummy food you are eating. And if you promise that you will go right back to the diet when you get home - you will be fine! Congrats on your weight loss!! I wish I had the willpower to eat better and work out!

I hope so! And thanks for the congrats. Really, I only have the willpower to work out. I am a notoriously bad eater, I hate most vegetables besides corn. Its my BF who has been cooking all the meals and making me enforce my diet. He got tired of me trying to lose weight by just working out (didn't work) so he picked out the South Beach diet.

You might want to try out the diet, during the first part of it I didn't do much working out at all, and I still lost a bunch of weight. That way, at least you'd only have the diet to stick with instead of it and exercise.

It hasn't really been easy for me though, I have been craving cake for the past two months :rotfl2:

I think my biggest worry for the trip (besides the costumes sucking) is that I will gain a whole lot of weight.

I have been on the south beach diet since the 4th of July, as of today I have lost 15 pounds (from 154 to 139). I am just terrified I will gain the weight back. The last time we went to Disney 2 years ago, we mostly shared CS meals and had cereal in the room, and I am pretty sure I gained 5 pounds. So you can imagine I am scared for this trip. We have ADRs at the following places:

Planet Hollywood,
Yak and Yeti,
Kona,
Boma,
Coral Reef,
Le Cellier,
Sci Fi,
Narcoossee's,
San Angel,
and Rose and Crown,

We are hoping to do some CS at:
Flame Tree Barbecue,
Earl of Sandwich (hopefully twice),
Cooke's,
Columbia Harbor House,
Pizza Planet,
Yakitori,
and Kringla

Yep...we are gonna be eating a lot more this trip. I really don't want to deny myself desserts and snacks. Hopefully I can just walk it all off :sad1:

I suggest that you go here: http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining.htm or here : http://allears.net/din/dining.htm

You can look up the menus on either of these websites before your trip and perhaps structure it around your diet! Im not familiar with South Beach so I cant make any suggestions for what to eat.

And as for the brooms I say go for it!!!

I thought I'd share today one of my favorite ways to work out...Disney Dance Dance Revolution. Yep, you heard me right. I'm talking about the one that came out for the original play station. Its got dance remixes of all your Disney favorites: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (do not check my spelling, please), the chimney sweeper song, its a small world, etc.

Anyway, I am a super competitive person, so this work out is awesome for me. And if you don't think DDR is a workout...you haven't tried it. All I have to do is start the game, and even if I am super tired or don't feel like working out all, I just HAVE to keep going until I beat my best score or until I complete certain songs. Before I know it, an hour has gone by.

 <----this banana man has got nothin' on my moves.

I am also getting super super excited for the Disney trip. I think the week before is almost as good as the vacation itself. I am starting to pack and getting things ready (I know, I know, amateur if I am just now starting to pack a week before).

All right, its time to head off to PA for a doctor's appointment and to see the finalized costume capes!

Woohoo! 4 days to go.

Now the panic seeps in.

I keep having at least one dream a night about Disney. Usually its the typical, I arrive at Disney but I forgot to pack Anything.

I haven't even started to pack yet :scared1:

Tomorrow is the first Buckeye game of the season, so I'll be watching that and hanging out until I have to go into work for the night shift.

Then I have to work Sunday and Monday for 8 hours.

I wish I packed before

And yet here I sit, on the DISboards, instead of packing. Really, I just wanna start reading posts about how the first MNSSHP is going. Oooh, I think I am going to see if the times and events for this year are listed yet.

ugh i am so with you on this girl!! I am terrified about gaining weight back too:( I lost so much ( size 12/14 to a 6):) only-- i dont weight myself because i will make myself nutts with the numbers-- i just base my lose of how my clothes are fitting LOL!! I am just going to try my best to make healthy choices, veggies with possibly, lots of wates, diet pop, just have a few bites of dessert-- i was dieting last year too-- and with all the walking and a little watching when i came home everyone was like wow you lost more weight LOL fine with me:) but like i said i never weight myself to know for sure LOL!! Dont deny yourself!! you are on vacation! Heck i diet all year for this trip LOL well i wouldnt really call mine a diet anymore more like a lifestyle change-- i count the ww points everyday and base my meals on points LOL:lmao: but there is no counting in disney LOL!! And if you gain a few pounds just think of all the delicious food and fun that you had and when you get back then you can just get back on track:) thats what i am telling myself LOL and then i have another goal to set by christmas ( size 4 if possible LOL) thats if i dont get preggers in the meantime LOL!!! Well good luck and i am there right with you -- so you have someone to talk to that completely gets you:)

Disney DDR? Now I need to go get that! I'm a vegetarian so it is hard for me to do a high protein diet like that, unfortunately.

I am on the DIS instead of packing to move back for 10 weeks of school...BAD idea seeing as how I am leaving at 9am tomorrow!! You have more than enough time to pack! (I went to the OSU game today so now I just want to lay around and sleep instead of pack/clean my room!)

I really can't wait to hear about MNSSHP!!

Thanks! Its always good to hear from people who understand. I think I am the opposite of you, I am more afraid of trying on clothes than I am of weighing myself. So even though I have lost 17 pounds so far, I really haven't tried on any of my old, smaller jeans. I just wear the big ones and put on a belt. Ugh, that really sounds ridiculous of me.

Good luck on the baby tries!

Wow, you really are in worse packing shape than I am! How was the game? We just watched it at home. There were some pretty tense moments in there, but Navy is not a slouch opponent.

I hope you get all your packing done in time!

All right! 2 days to go! :yay:

Just gotta make it through the next two insanely busy and long days at work.

I am about to head out to Target to do some last minute trip shopping. I need some ponchos (just for MNSSHP, I don't want our costumes getting ruined if it rains, I am not much into ponchos otherwise), we may need some more rechargeable batteries (have only located 4 at the moment), and I think I may be getting a new nice outfit for Narcoossee's. Hmm, what am I doing on the DIS boards? I need to get moving!

:goodvibes We are sitting in the airport waiting to go. I will probably have internet one day during the trip, otherwise you will hear back when we are home.
