((((HUGS)))) for you! There must be something about us Jen's, I bleed through my entire second pregnancy. I had a hematoma (sp) around my uterus and I had a placenta previa so DD was delievered via c-section. She is 4 months old today. If you need to talk ever let me know.

Hi Everyone!

We had an appointment with our midwife today. She tried to find the heartbeat with the dopler, but was not able too. It is still early to find it (I'm 9wks 6days). So that is not a total shocker.

We pretty much just needed to decide if we wanted to have an ultrasound done. DH and I are kind of "let nature take its course" people. But we did go ahead and schedule an appointment for tomorrow at 11:30. We just decided to do it for our own peace of mind. If the baby has stopped developing we will just let my body do what it is designed to do.

I am doing pretty good. I'm sure I will be stressed tomorrow. Plus I have to drink 32 oz of water and can't pee after 10am! I told DH I was going to pee at 9:59! I also think the bleeding has decreased from yesterday. So that is a good thing.

MIL is going to stay tonight and tomorrow also. So she will be here to take care of Avery.

I am sure you have a very good midwife/OB, but I just wanted to say make sure you get a transvag inal ultrasound as well as the regular belly one. When I was gong thru all our our trauma, we ended up having an ultrasound when the doc couldn't find the heartbeat (yet) and the reg ultrasound didn't show anything. I will never forget lying on the table, about as sad as I have ever been in my life and then the tech said, "I see a heartbeat." I just lost it, after the inconclusive HCG test and everything, I was sure I lost her, but there she was, my little lima bean!

I will be sending you loads of positive thoughts tomorrow for your lima bean!

Good luck Jenn. As mrsv98 said insist on a transvag ultrasound. My ob wouldn't even do a belly one at 9 weeks. I had quite a few u/s this last pg due to an ovarian cyst.
