We changed our trip from Nov 2017 to March 2018. When should I drop Nov ADRs?

We had to move our trip and have March 2018 booked at poly. We do ADRs this week. Our Nov 2017 ADRs are still in my account. Should I cancel them before or after booking ADR for March? I'm worried if I keep the Nov, it will make getting ADRs for March more difficult, like the system will hiccup or move slower since I have ADRs for a cancelled trip in it.

Why are you holding on to the November ones? If you aren't going, what's the point? I feel like I'm missing something.

We just changed the trip and I'm worried if I cancel today and try to get ADRs tomorrow, Disneys system will freak out and it will impact me trying to book more ADRs. I don't know why. It's just that I keep reading on here that MDE is always freaking out and causing errors so I didn't want to add to that and hurt our chances. So I was wondering if anyone has had an issue with cancelling ADRS and scheduling more for another date. I was just wondering if I cancel the Nov ones today or wait until after I schedule March ones tomorrow.

MDE could freak out at any time for any reason. Just cancel the ADR's. I have moved ADR's and scheduled and cancelled with no problems plenty of times.

For future reference, adrs are not linked to resort stays. You could just as easily be staying off site in November and still using those adrs. The polite thing to do is to cancel as soon as you know you don't need them, but keeping them will in no way affect your ability to make adrs for a different date.

Good to know. We just changed our trip so I haven't been hanging on and just cancelled
