After much debate and deliberation and attempts to be strong, reasonable adults :lmao: my husband and I decided to change our upcoming trip to include the deluxe dining plan. The kicker for us was the fact that we would not have to worry about food cost all all, save for tips. On the regular plan we would have to pay OOP for our breakfast every morning... and there were more TSes that we wanted to try that just one every day.

SO! Here are our ADRs. I'm pretty happy with them! :goodvibes

April 25th: Raglan Road 8:45PM
Our arrival day, so we wanted to make sure we had a late enough ADR.
April 26th: Ohana's 7:45AM, 1900 Park Faire at 5PM, CS for lunch wherever we happen to be at the time in the MK.
April 27th: CS at AK, then Boma at 6:15.
I simply must try these zebra domes that people keep going on about! Plus we like to try new things, and Boma seems like a great chance for that. Oh, and we're shooting for Flame Tree BBQ for lunch!
April 28th: Sunshine Seasons for breakfast, Teppan Edo at 1:45PM, and Le Cellier at 7:45PM (Cheese soup here we come!!!)
EPCOT has EMH that morning, so we figure we'll run and do Soarin' first, and then have breakfast. And did I mention Le Cellier?! WOO! :cheer2:
April 29th: Tusker House at 1:10PM, and then over to EPCOT for Rose and Crown at 8PM (and hopefully Illuminations!)
We get the Nemo Musical reserved seating with the Tusker House ADR, yes? The CM on the phone didn't mention it, but that's what I'd read here.
April 30th: 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch at noon, and then an afternoon in World Showcase topped off with dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh at 7:30 PM
May 1st: My stepdaughter's 7th birthday!!! princess: We have an 8AM appointment at BBB, so we'll probably just grab something quick on our way to the bus. Then we're having lunch at CRT at 1:10PM, and dinner at Chef Mickey's at 7:40PM. Sounds like a darn good birthday to me!! I'm thinking about ordering her the slipper dessert at CRT, and having her cake at Chef Mickey's. I'm thinking about ordering her the Mickey head cake, so that would fit better there anyway, and then I can still do something special for lunch in the castle that doesn't involve two cakes in one day!!! Now that's just crazy talk. :lmao:

I'm so excited! I've wanted to do a trip like this for a long time now.

Oh, and before anyone asks, yes we have park hoppers. :upsidedow

Wow! I wish I had a "very wicked step mother" like you ;) Sounds like a wonderful trip!

On April 27th maybe you could go to Boma for breakfast and use the CS as a TS you can do this on the Delux plan can't you? Boma is a great place for breakfast

Is it just you and DH? We are thinking of upgrading but with out trip being March 1-8 Im not sure if I could get ressies to fill up the week. Also Im not sure Id want to live my vaca getting from one restaurant to another.

Also, was it much extra? Oh man Im SO tempted!

Thanks! I love asking the girls when they're tasked to clean their rooms. "But is it Wicked Stepmother clean??" They think that's hilarious. :goodvibes

Hmm, that's not a bad thought. :) I'll have to ponder that one.

Nope! It's all four of us. Me, Princess R (9) and Princess B (6 turning 7!)

It was about $600 extra :faint: but again that's for 2 adults and 2 kids. I think it's about $60 more a day for two adults, but don't quote me on that!

I hear you about the rushing from one place to another... which is why I'm not opposed to CS. I don't want to have three reservations to work around in a day!!! Given how commando I can be though, enforced sit-down breaks are NOT a bad thing! :goodvibes

Actually, I just looked at the breakfast menu for Boma, and I really think we want to try their dinner entrees. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

You will love the DxDP! We tried it in December and my husband kept saying before hand how it would be too much food. Well, we loooooved it and are using it again this year. The other day, I caught him telling his brother how great it was. I was cracking up at him. We'll never go without it again!

I just upgraded to the deluxe plan about two days ago, and made my ADRs the same day. We are going the exact same days as you. I was able to get everything I wanted including the castle, but not Yak and Yetis. so you may want to go for it!

Also to the OP congrats on the upgrade. This is my first time on the deluxe too and I am sooooo looking forward to all the yummy food.

This is exactly how we ended up upgrading to the deluxe!!

Sounds like your going to have an awesome trip!!!!! Your going to be glad that you upgraded to the DxDP...you wont regret it!!!!:)

Made some changes, hopefully for the better!

April 30th: 50's Prime Time Cafe for lunch at noon, and dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh at 7:30 PM
May 1st: Birthday lunch at CRT at 1:10PM, and birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's at 7:40PM.
May 2nd: 1900 Park Faire "brunch" at 11AM. We're leaving late on Saturday (our flight leaves MCO at 8:45PM!) so we're going to try and sneak in one more MK day :wizard: figuring that the Magical Express would pick us up around 5:00PM at Pop.
