We're planning on closing down AK (6:00) on Saturday 8/8. Do we have enough time to make it to our T-Rex reservation at 7:30? How should we get there? I was thinking bus to Saratoga Springs and walk, but there might be a better way.

Take the first resort bus that shows up then go to DTD from there? I'm not sure where the pathway to DTD is at SSR in relation to where you would be dropped off so I can't answer to that.

Taxi is fastest. Either take the SSR bus (check the resort thread to find out which bus stop to get off) or the AKL bus and transfer to the DTD bus there.

I believe Congress Park is still the stop at SSR for the walkway to DTD.

I think that SSR is the best best if you were to go with the bus route. I know many people say taxi, but I personally try and used Disney transportation only on my trips.

Depending on what time you're at the bus stop, and what your timing looks like, POFQ/POR has the boat to DTD, but you may be pushing it with that route. The bus would probably be about 35minutes, and the boat another 20. Assuming you make the first available..

The bus to SS and walk is a decent safe bet but a chance of being late. It could be a half hour until you are on the bus, then a 15 minute ride to SS, 5 minutes around SS to Congress park, so getting close to an hour before you are walking. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Congress Park.

If leaving in mass at closing your going. To run into an issue making a bus whatever stop you choose. I wouldn't stay to the 6:00PM moment, I'd get out of there at least twenty minutes earlier.

Tip: on an AK day, we stay and watch the Lion King 6:00PM show. It extends the day a little longer and major crows had left by the end of the show.
