Hadn't seen this posted so I thought I would pass it on:

From the DVC member site:

"Changes to Concierge Collection
Earlier this year we were pleased to announce the addition of four premier properties to the Disney Vacation Club Concierge Collection: The Fairmont San Francisco; Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego; Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C.; and Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas.

We had fully expected that Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, would become part of the Concierge Collection. Unfortunately, Atlantis is unable to fulfill their obligations to allow Members to stay at their resort. We regret any inconvenience that this may have caused you.

Disney Vacation Club is always committed to bringing exceptional vacation options to our Member Getaways program and will continue to seek ways to enhance the program in the best interests of our Disney Vacation Club Members."

It would have been nice.....

I saw Atlantis on my Disney Cruise. Been there done that, don't care to go back LOL!

I would like to stay at the Corando though.

I wonder what fell through?

Maybe they wanted to give us the servant quarters or something in exchange for our points! LOL

Or maybe the points were so outrageous that DVC knew there would be a backlash from the membership.

Well 3 out of the 4 aint bad!

Thanks for posting. I was wondering if and when we would see the points listed. I am disappointed, but it probably would have been too many points for my family anyway.

My Pop just got back from Atlantis...He said it stunk..Bad service, highprice ($9 for a hamburger), and rude staff.

Maybe thats why it fell thru

Hmmm... I guess your Pop's not been to Orlando. $9 for a hamburger would be a bargain at any 5* resort in Orlando, wouldn't it?
