Hertz EV rentals

Giving a Hertz Tesla EV a go. Rates were much cheaper ($208/week). Planned some time for the Crayola experience with a supercharger nearby. Main purpose is to shuttle to/from airport with limited mileage around the resort. so hoping a charge lasts me the week. Let's see if I actually get assigned a Tesla or if they will give me a regular ice car.

Overall, went better than expected.
Hertz, sent a bunch of emails with videos on how to use a Tesla which I didn't have time to review. Got in, car was set to Spanish. Took some time to learn to drive. Once it was figured out, things got easier.

I spent time one evening finding a supercharger. Took an hour out of a non park day. 15 min drive each way, 30 min to charge from 25%-100%. I chose an EV to save money, and that money spent on lightning lanes saved me more time than charging time.

Tesla supercharging was much better than a hertz polestar. Tesla level 3 charging was faster than polestar, and cost of supercharging was half of evgo.

Supercharged to 100%, drove to AK for a park day, and back to MCO at 78%, avoiding a second supercharging session by being above 75%.
