We braved the 4th!!! AND the rain...and the crowds??? 7/1-7/8 BOOKED NEXT TRIP!!!!

There's a whole Fantasyland refurb thread that I've been reading, and it also mentions ToonTown. From what I've read, it's supposed to be open through at least December, but no one can say for sure. Reports from people who came back recently is that it's still up and running right now for sure

Yes--it's open as of July 3rd. The walkway into ToonTown is narrower because of the walls around the Fantasyland expansion area, but all was open--Barnstormer, Judge's Tent, Donald's Boat, Micky and Minnie's houses, and the railroad.

Nikki--I'm here, ready to see how your days compared to ours! We arrived 7/3 and MK was amazing--not empty, but considerably less crowded, thanks to the rain. We had lots of rain on the 3rd, and the 4th at Epcot was drizzly most of the afternoon, but great in the evening. The 5th had that huge downpour in the evening--we waited out the worst of it while in Narcoossee's. Then we didn't have any more until right before we left on the 11th.

Ugh, rain rain RAIN! The rain on the 3rd and the 4th stunk! And that huge downpour on the 5th?? That was the night of our Dessert Party. Don't want to get ahead of myself........

Seems like my friend Joni (Shelbysmommy on DIS) had hers REALLY fast. :-( I'm sorry, I know it's rough to have to wait for things. I just got an upgraded cell phone in the mail yesterday, and I thought I might attack the FedEx lady half way up my driveway!!

I actually LOVED the Lost finale. Way more than I thought I would. They were losing me and I was worried about them not resolving all the mysteries but I was so satisfied at the end of the finale.

The show wasn't about the mysteries of the island, the show was about these people and how they all shared this important time of their lives together. Yes, there were things that we never found out about but ya know what, this was really the story of Jack and he died not knowing all the mysteries of the island. That's what life is all about. We don't always have all the answers, we just have to live with what we got!

I pre-ordered it to get the discount and there is an option to cancel. There are always SOoooo many photographers around when we go, most likely because it's summer. They are all over World Showcase, which I LOVE! We got a LOT of pics this year...which is why I don't want to go on without them!
