We are heading to the world on November 1st, (well, technically we are still waiting for the waitlist to come through) and I am beginning to worry that it will not. We have our last 2 nights booked for a 2BR @BCV, and since we have my son, dil, and the littles, I am not looking for a split stay. Pixie dust request if you’re so inclined!

I look forward to the day I'll be invited to a grandchild's event like that - I'm due to become a first time grandmother in January, fingers crossed for mom & baby! Hope to make many Disney memories with the new disney lover in the family.

I booked exactly at the 7 mo window but there has been zero availability for a while now, and I am beginning to think our 2 nights (11/1 and 11/2) for BCV isn’t going to come through.

BCV is one of the harder ones to get unfortunately.

Hang in there! Still three months to go, and many folks hang on until the "last minute" before letting go because their plans didn't work out. You have backup plans?

Just returned from 8 glorious nights at BRV

We were in a 1 br, room 2517, and I don’t know how we got so lucky; this room was the perfect location! Mere steps away from the elevator, opening our door right overlooking the little atrium at BRV, and yet sooo quiet. We aren’t huge sit on the balcony folks, but I found myself sitting outside nearly every morning with my coffee just enjoying the atmosphere.

We definitely took this trip a lot slower, and enjoyed spending time at the resort and in our villa.

Can’t wait to go back to the lodge in the future!
Absolutely loved this room! Spoiled for any future stays.

Great pics and thanks for sharing them! I stayed in a similar room many years ago, and it was magnificent. I gotta say what details I see of the refurb makes it seems they did give a nod toward keeping the theme Lodge-ish. Good to see! So glad you enjoyed your stay there. For many people on here, it's home away from home, so we're happy to see others enjoy it immensely, as well.

Good morning! Wondering if anyone has any firsthand experience getting a taxi (with voucher) from WL to Palm/Magnolia mid-Aug. I wasn’t sure if proximity to the course made it easier or more difficult to get a cab for such a short hop

We’re at MCO after a stay at BCV (we own there and almost always stay there). The taxi situation for DH’s morning tee-time has never been stellar but it was abysmal (maybe bc of the portico construction but it seemed to simply be a worsening of similar issues we’ve experienced at BC). We’re thinking of trying BRV next Aug (we’re 1 bd dwellers so usually not too difficult to trade out). TIA!
