The MK mountains can really screw people up.

The same thing happened to us before MSEP. People wouldn't move from the walkways.

Some people think the rules just don't apply to them. They see an open space and sit there...even if it is designated as a walkway!

That tour looks neat. Might think about it in the future. Of course, the tour that I dream of doing is the Yuletide tour.

I also hate when people comment throughout movies or attractions.

I also noticed that I also have a lot less patience during the summer. And people easily get on my nerves.

I'm easily reminded of a quote from the movie "The Hangover". The guy, who's a teacher, comes out of the school and a kid comes to talk to him. It goes something like: "Tommy, it's Friday. I don't know you."

I HATED that movie because I could not STAND that character! He was just an awful person and I didn't think it was funny to act like that AT ALL! I'm all for crude, vulgar humor...loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love You Man but that character in the Hangover just rubbed me the wrong way!

That said, I also try very hard to avoid places with children in the summer!

Chefs wasn't that crowded either when we went during our trip.

The difference between the wait time and the actual time it took you for Test Track reminded me of what a bus driver said. He said that when the park was closing, to get in line for a ride. Something like they have to let you ride since you were in line before it closed. Not sure if it's true though.

So Tom and I went to see Inception on Saturday and I've had a popcorn kernel stuck in my throat ever since!! That usually happens to be but it's always gone the next day. It's really annoying. So I went to Urgent Care today to see what to do. They took an x-ray and said they don't see it! It's there, though, I know it's there! (I can feel it, I know it's not just that my throat is scratched.) He said it will dissolve but from what I've read, that is not necessarily true. I posted on the community board and got some good advice about eating bread so I think I'll try that tomorrow. The Dr. gave me a Rx for some numbing liquid but I think that will just mask the problem and I'd rather not do that. He also gave me the name of an ear, nose, throat doctor so if it doesn't go away in a few days, I guess I'll go see him.....

Grrrrr! It's just so annoying! I was crying about it today because I just don't want to deal with this! Who gets freaking popcorn stuck in their throat!? I'm NEVER eating popcorn again!!

I had to go in to school already because I'm moving my classroom and it was soooo depressing to go in so early in the summer! Usually I don't go in until the 3rd week in August. Maybe if I hadn't done that, I'd be more into getting supplies and stuff....although, I did find 25 cent composition books at Target that I was really excited about....

I also agree with the other poster about your DH playing along with the photos. That's awesome! Mine does sometimes, but he isn't the theatrical type and is sometimes annoyed by it... (Oh well, too bad for him! )

Ouch not hot! Hope it goes away soon I don't mind popcorn, but I am the same as you in that it always get stuck in your teeth, one time I had it stuck in between my teeth and gum and it took ages to come out, couldn't pick it out or anything. Got so bad that that part of my gum swelled up, was not very nice

On a side note, what did you think of Inception? Brilliant movie, can't wait to get it on Blu-ray

I've got squirrel tonsils or something because I get stuff in my tonsils and can feel it and have to get it out. It's not funny when I'm talking and choking because POPCORN falls into my throat. So I have to clear them out myself or get my tonsils removed per the very *smart* doctors (NOT).

Haha, he's a trooper. Sometimes he doesn't really feel like it but he humors me! But most of the time, he's just as into it as I am.

It's not fun at all!

I had no opinion or expectation of Inception going into it. I thought it was interesting and kept me entertained. It was toooo long and, although I got the majority of it, I found it a little confusing at time to the point where I knew I didn't even have to try to figure it out because it didn't really matter. I'll probably watch it again if I catch it on HBO to maybe try to figure it out a little more.

Plus, I still can't see Leo in a role other than Titanic! I just want him to always be Jack!! And it confuses my when he's not!

hey nikii we felt we got lucky too we were in magnolia bend I wanted to be in the mansions near the quiet pool we got our wish it was close walking to main pool and to the quiet pool and just a short walk past the main pool to the main building we loved it.

we went to the pool every day and unlike you I was so hot every day it did rain alot but we did not let that bother us we had the perfect vacation. did you go to the bar and see bob jackson the piano guy we went on thruday nite july 7th and had the best time.

Hi Nikki! Have been lurking on your trip report- even subscribed! New to boards and hearing about your vacation has been great for prepping me for my trip, lol...
It's awesome that you and hubby get to enjoy all these things before kids- always wanted to go before kids, just never happened- now here they are!

Loved AK posts- we loved the park when we went with the kids last year. Sorry it rained most of trip, that's a bummer! Just wanted to say hi and look forward to reading the rest of your report!
