Megara looks to have a mile wide smile too, a pretty one too! :teeth:

I think this happens on a semi-regular basis at our house. It would explain why our dogs only SEEM to eat one supper a day, but both are looking a little suspiciously over fed. LOL.

Our doggie is a 2 year old dalmatian and is currently perfect weightwise......Our other dal was significantly OVER weight.....and we swore this one would not get meals of our foods......
She is beautiful our little white and black terror :goodvibes .

Our cats pull that from time to time. DH will feed them, and they'll wolf it all down and wail piteously when they see me. I see empty bowls and hear wailing and assume they haven't eaten. Bingo! Two breakfasts!

Dog! Hah, you are lucky. My son is part Hobbit!

I feed him breakfast in the morning, and then quite often he will eat a SECOND breakfast at Grandma's! (Great-Grandma always fed him breakfast again too when she was alive) The grands knew he had already eaten, but they feed him again anyway.

Of course, their breakfast is usually fancier then the bowl of cereal I give him!

This happens quite often at our house. You would think someone would say, "Oh no thank you... I've eaten." But never. :confused3

:lmao:

My dog would never say that! She often gets fed twice...and you can tell if ya know what I mean. She is a little "round." We have a little chart to check off when you give the dog her breakfast dinner, and medication. I am the only one who uses it or even looks at it for that matter.

That happens here with the cats. They're better at acting starved, where the dog would just look hopeful.

Rumpus (see signature) wants to know if he can come stay at your house for a while, since I'm the only one here, he NEVER gets fed twice (although you wouldn't know that, since he's 18.5 pounds)! :lmao:

Kimya

Our cats also act like they've never had dinner - even to me, who is the only one who feeds them. Duh, I do remember feeding them twenty minutes beforehand.

:goodvibes

that's our cats - there could be a full bowl, but when I walk in the room, Tasha jumps up the closet door casing like she's starving and been neglected!!!! DH is responsible for the dog when he's home, so that never happens with the dog - poor thing!!!! Then again, he isn't likely to ask again after eating - but the cats will try (pull) anything!!!! :sunny:
