Also I booked at a special rate, because its paid in full would it just be a switch with no extra $ involved? Thanks guys!

I've stayed at most all of the resorts at WDW, and I still like staying at POR every so often. I like the Bayou rooms much better than the Mansions. From the Bayou, you are close to the parking lot, the pool, the gift shop and the food!

We usually spend our nites at the Beach Club Villas, our home. I suggest that you keep your reservation at the POR, but request the Bayou rooms.

Congratulations!

Hello! I have to say, I stayed in POFQ for my honeymoon in Oct 2002 and LOVED it! The rooms seemed bigger and better at the FQ. We did, however, stay at the Riverside Mansions this past December and they were ok. I don't think I will stay there again. AND, they just remodeled the French Quarter rooms so they will be fairly new, the Riverside rooms are really rundown and are in need of renovation, which should be happening soon! I would say yes, go ahead and switch, I like the grounds better, the buses seemed to be better (on time) and the rooms are nicer, at least in my opinion. They were very good to us since they knew we were on our honeymoon, above and beyond the typical Disney service! If you have any other questions you are welcome to email me!

Hi,

I stayed at the POFQ 12 years ago for my honeymoon. I have never stayed at POR but I have such great memories of the French Quarter. It was great. Either way you can bike ride to each one and check both out.

Have a great wedding and a better Honeymoon.
