We became DVC owners at AKV today !!

Well we finally did it. We became DVC owners at AKV today. We bought 200 points. We are planning our first stay in October from 1-11. Hope they have rooms avaiable then.

Congrats Ron! We're also from Michigan and bought into Animal Kingdom a couple monthes ago. Our first trip is also in late Sept./early Oct.08. We received 160 bonus points for signing up so we've having my wife's side come down for 5 days to stay in a grand villa and then 2 days at Vero Beach in a 2 bdrm. We're real excited too. Ron, First Congrats. Second, You should be able to call MS right away to make reservations. If you didn't get your ID from your rep, give him/her a call to get your ID number and give MS a call.

Call right now to make your reservations! Ask your guide to help you. Last I checked, no consecutive days were available at all for the rest of 2008 of just about any size at AKV! Only random Tue and Wed's nights.

Also, I was told that at best Kidani will open in January but not earlier. I guess that can always change but it's doubtful. They are ahead of schedule in the construction according to my guide, but that just means that instead of Spring 09, it would be open Winter 09. Not 08 though.
