My 2 goals after I retire :
1. Get a job at WDW.
2. Visit every NASCAR racetrack.

I guess those would be part of your "bucket list"?!?

I, for one, wouldn't mind driving a Zamboni after I retire. (Hey, Cat: If you run out of cat-toon adventures, that might be a good gig to pursue!!)

By looking at the remainder of the stops on our Road Trip, I think I'm safe in saying take your time and post when you can. Most of the remaining people have been laying low. As a matter of fact, has anyone heard from any of our oversea's stops?

I dunno! I truly hope that our overseas friends are still on board, because I think it would be great fun for our DIS-nee Family to travel across the Atlantic!

Hey, Miss Stitch and disneyhockeymad: Are you still out there? (I'll try to PM them as we get closer to our trans-Atlantic flight...) And, if everything goes according to plan, maybe we can host a little virtual tea party in honor of our visit to England! (Crumpets, anyone?)

Hey there! This marks the true beginning of my portion of the Great DIS-nee Road Trip!

It's our last evening here in the Dallas Fort Worth area, so it's time to share something with you all:

Rules for Cat's portion of the Road Trip

OK – they’re not exactly rules – they’re more like GUIDELINES!

1. No one gains weight on my portion of the VIRTUAL road trip! The first person who complains about getting fat or needing to exercise will be required to virtually leave the bus, and virtually walk to Austin!



Your first test: A Tex-Mex feast! Eat Hearty!

And something for those who want something a little stronger than sweet tea!

2. Weather will not be an issue! Just because it's getting close to 100 degrees everyday in Texas, we will NOT be getting hot!

Using the most cutting edge Virtual technology available, I’ve installed a Weather Widget. This will make us feel like it's 70 degrees!

3. Time and Space problems will be conquered thanks to a new invention from the cat-o-vention lab!

The Cat-O-Timer

This invention builds on Mr. Peabody's "Way Back" machine from the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, and will allow us to move thru time and space as needed!

It's OFF right now, but when we need it, I'll crank it up and give you all the details!

4. This is the Texas Flag, and normally it would be used to rally any group in this state.

Mostly because I just want to keep up on how far we have virtually travelled.
Seems I left off at Disneymommom's tour of Louisiana, so here that is first.....

Oh, and I encouraged Madbrad (via our "Adventurosity Club" thread) to give us a report-back once he visits that GRUMPY'S diner introduced by BTM. (Are you "listening," Madbrad? Hint! Hint! Hint! Hint! ) We could employ your handy Cat-O-Timer (or the DIS-nee Family 'Copter) then, too!

As promised here are the photos. This place is right near Boaz, AL. I think of you every time we pass it...wonder why.

Thank's BTM. I wish I would have known about this place earlier. I could have put it in my trip report. I work with several people that live in that area. I'll have to get some info on this place and go visit myself.

I hope Disney doesn't find out about this. They seem to be pretty ruthless about people using their copyrighted material. Check out this news article -Disney sues Lake County business over use of Pooh, other characters.

When you do, I think you should borrow the DIS-nee Family 'Copter so that you can take a quickie trip to the place, then feel free to break in with a brief report on the "We Be Trippin'" thread!!

Hey everybody! I just caught up - had to go check out all the cool places, food and shopping in Oklahoma and Texas so far before joining up with ya'll. My new boots are nicely worn in now! (I picked the ones with the winged hearts on the back.)
