We ate at WDW...and got FAT at WDW! Our reviews of 11 days of dining!

Family of 5 myself, DH and 3 DDs

Ohana's- Had to eat fast because we had an Illuminations cruise to catch...but enjoyed it none-the-less! We especially fell in love with those unbelievable wings! delicious! The bread was tastey, as well as the wonton, rice and salad! We ate alot of Shrimp too! My steak was a little tough, but everything else was great! To my surprise, DH and I loved that Pineapple dipped in Caramel! Yummy! Oh yeah, DH had a Tradewind and I had a Malibu Macaw!
Yummy Again!

Pecos Bill- used 2 Q & C vouchers here! We got a lot of food, but we broke even with the voucher! Love that Fixins bar!!

Liberty Tree Tavern- food was good. Really liked those crunchy string beans...I generally don't even eat string beans! We had bread, salad, mashed potatos, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, turkey and flank steak! Everything was good!...Then they came out with Apple Pie Ala Mode! One of my favorites!...and it certainly didn't disappoint! Character interaction was wonderful too!

Pirata and Perico- had black beans and rice and an empanada- Food was mediocre!


Coral Reef-Our most expensive meal of the trip, but what did we expect when we both ordered the Lobster! DH also ordered the Lobster bisque, but I decided to skip the appetizers because I really wanted to order The Chocolate Wave for Dessert! It didn't happen! I was way too stuffed from the Lobster! It was very tastey! The kids ordered those silly glowing ice cubes that they are still using now that we are home!

Tangierine Cafe(Morrocco)- Used 2 Q & C vouchers and really got our moneys worth here! All of us ate on these 2 vouchers. Our meals came with sides, but they allowed us to order additional sides for free! We ordered 1 rottisserie chicken meal and 1 mediterranean Wrap meal, recieved a salad, 2 orders of Cous Cous, 2 orders of Lentil salad and 2 orders of yellow rice...as well as 2 large cokes and 2 chocolate cakes! Good food!

Rosie's All American- just grabbed a quick bite! Bugers and chicken nuggets! was OK!

Ohanas(again)- this time, we had nowhere to go, because the hurricane was heading right for us, so we ate here again! Food was even better this time around(steak was awesome), and our server Marge was EXCELLENT! Due to no deliveries, they had a pineapple shortage so were had a mousse volcanoe! Delicious!

Sci Fi- Lots of fun! Food was good and the girls had a blast sitting in the cars! DH had the steak sandwich and I ordered the Ruben sandwich! The kids all had hamburgers!

Captain Cooks- ate sandwiches which were mediocre!

Cinderella's Royal Table(breakfast)- Great as usual! didn't care for the blueberries on my delicious French toast though! Love the potatos and sausages! The princesses all looked beautiful! DH seemed to really fancy that Snow White!

Whispering Canyon Cafe(WL)- We have eaten here sooo many times, but this tops the cake! If anyone has the opportunity to go...request Bobby the Kid as your server! He IS INSANE! We laughed so hard the entire dinner! We also had friends with us that had never been to WCC...so this was especially a treat for us! Food was better than I remembered too!

Scwabs Deli(Universal Studios)- Had the chicken salad sandwiches and turkey and cheese sandwiches! To our surprise, the turkey was real!...not parts! We also ordered Milk shakes that were thick, sweet and cold!

Pastamore(City Walk)- One of the best meals our entire trip! Perhaps the pitcher of Sangria had something to do with it! I had the Seafood Fra diavolo, DH had Veal Parmigiana and the kids ordered Spagetti! Everyone's plate was cleaned! Could not fit dessert!

Thunder Falls? Jurassic Park! Can't remember the name_____ Falls- Had roasted chicken, red potatos and corn on the cob. Pretty good too!

Beach Club(HRH)- had a cabana and had food delivered all day! We felt important! Food was really good...especially after drinking Twist and Shouts!

Tusker House- We could never go wrong with that tastey rotisserie chicken! We used our last 2 Q & C vouchers and finished it off with the most delicious chocolate cake I have ever eaten! It was so fresh...it tasted like it was made 5 minutes ago!
Got our youngest DD(3) to eat alot of her Macaroni and cheese! She really loved it!

Perkins- perkins is Perkins, but it was good anyway!

Latin Quarter(Citywalk)- excellent service and food! Had Latin wings as an appetizer, DDs ordered the pizza empanadas, DH had the Cuban Sandwich and I ordered the Chicken and Beef skewers! Had latingrias! Not as good as Pastamore's Sangria though!

We also ate at Poly concierge for most breakfasts!

We're also going to try O'hanas on our trip in Nov. Ate at the Kona Cafe last time we were at WDW and fell in love with the Poly. We had wanted to stay there on this trip, but a layoff and loads of medical bills prohibited us from saving enough for that, so it's All Star Movies this timel.

All of that delicious food is getting me hungry! Yum, thinking about the Ohana skewers of meat (and I'm not even on Atkins!).

Thanks AspiringCindy for your review! I too,gained weight while we were at WDW for 10 days. Some would not be so pleased about this, but since I tend to be on the "thin" side it was a blessing.
I can tell you where we ate, but not all we ate. All I know is that there were no complaints from any of us, a party of 8.
Next time we go I told my sister not to make so many Priority Seatings out of 14 we ended up canceling 2. It had nothing to do with the place, just the time. Not enough to do everything.

1)- how was your reuben at Sci-fi?

2) did you feel the cabana at HRH was worth it and did what did you mean when you said they kept bring food?.Did you place an order at the Beach Club and they delivered it to the cabana.?

Sorry for the questions but we have a cabana reserved and I am not sure what to expect.

1. The Reuben Sandwich was good, but not the best! I ordered it without the sauercraut(sp?)!
2. The cabana was awesome!!! I would definitely order one again. We called 3 months in advance and booked cabana #9...The best location! It was near the slide, the zero entry and the kiddie pool! The cabana had a TV, Ceiling fan, a phone, a refrigerator, table and 5 chairs, 4 lounge chairs, water, soda and a fruit platter! We spent almost the entire day by the pool! A nice way to get out of the sun every now and then!

Montana Minnie, we actually cancelled Mama Melrose(Fantasmic) and Boma because of messed up plans from Hurrican Charlie!

Thanks for the wonderful reviews. I'm gald you weathered the storm alright. We have never ate at O'Hanas but it sure sounds great by reading all the reviews here on the boards. We also love Peco's Bill, your right about loving there fixins bar.

Thanks for sharing AspiringCindy! Actually, if you're going to post any reports I'd RATHER have the food reviews! They weren't too long either - I agree with the other posters who say "The longer the better". Can't wait to try Ohana's and WCC! We're not going back till 2005 but I already have the meals plugged into our schedule - so you can see where MY 'priorities' are as well, LOL! I'm diabetic, but since we walk & exercise SO much at Disney, I can usually splurge a lot more than any other time, so for me it's heaven!

We love LTT too! Plus, you have me really hungry for Cindy's potatoes & french toast - though I admit, I love the blueberries. Do you believe, I read a review of Cindy's recently where the poster thought the french toast was just a danish!!! He just HATED everything. (One less person taking away the coveted Cindy's ressies )

We agree!! We love this place for a quickie dinner!!

I originally wanted to eat at the restaurant but was out-voted by DH and the girls! ...so I was glad to atleast eat at the cafe!
