We ate lunch at the CP on December 15th, the first day of its re-opening. It was stunning. We were told by a CM that virtually everything had been replaced. Even the brass handrails outside had been polished, and the place still smelled slightly of new paint. Food was great, characters were great, not a single complaint here!

What a cute picture - thanks for the info - I always loved Crystal Palace when I was a kid, now I can take my kids there.

Thanks for the update about CP! I love the pciture of you and your family! Beautiful family!

We've done every sit down in MK except CP and I can't wait to try it. The last time I ate there was in 90 when it was still cafeteria style.

What was the selections like?? Any change from the old buffet???

We were there on 12/17 and 12/20 for lunch. Menu was pretty much the same on both days, except for the meat and soup selections at the carving station. First day, there was prime rib. Second day, there was steak. Two years ago, kids' area had pizza. This time, there were only chicken nuggets, macaroni - n - cheese, and corn. Ice cream station still there. Had several other selections of desserts, such as mini-muffins. I thought the macaroni - n - cheese and mashed potatoes were good. They were very creamy. DH liked the rice dish that had salmon and clams mixed in it. Salmon was the special for the week. There were also slices of ham and turkey at the salad station for people who prefer to eat sandwiches instead. Also had a chicken pasta dish and fried chicken.

Thanks for the update! I look forward to seeing the changes. :)

I can't wait to to see it. It was still be remodeled while we were there!
Thanks!
