Quick update on Dayne: we went to the orthopod this morning...he is healed! he needs to wear a wrist brace for two weeks, than excersise it for two weeks he goes back on May 4th to be D/C'd. Thank goodness for small miracles--did not bother to tell the doc that he played basketball two weeks ago.

Also, paid my portion of the room at POP off today. Dayne's friend and Gwendolyn still have their portion to cover...but, I'm ready to go! just need to pack

be back later! need to go finish the laundry before Ashton's little friend gets here...Thanks for all the good wishes for my aunt! I will try to get back and answer everyone after dinner (if Danny lets me get on the computer ).

That calls for a big ole ! Glad to hear that Dayne didn't hurt his arm by cutting off the cast himself.

Paying off the room calls for another big ole! It always makes me feel all tingly inside knowing that I've paid off my trip.

FAVORITE CHARACTER LOCATIONS:

MK: The Judges Tent...always lots of great ones in there!
AK: The entrance...always some unusual seen ones here!
DS: The entrance her also...some good ones! Oh, and by the Big Hat too!
EPCOT: In one of the Innovations buildings! Also, all around the countries...sometimes you have to go in & keep looking though.

I love meeting the characters in the square on Main Street when the MK opens! It's a great way to start the day!

Oh...and meeting Buzz and Stitch over by the Carousel of Progress was great too...NO LINE!!

We love meeting characters in EPCOT both in the countries and at the Character spot in FW. We always get the Times Guide and plan out who we want to see then head there when they are first going to be there/open. The lines are usually a lot shorter. As the day goes on it gets crowded. I will get James to put a Postcard in the mail for Ashton this weekend.

Cute pics of the kids Connie! Love the conversation bubble pics. Ashton wanted no part of the pond did he? Looks like Ashton is doing well on his bike!

I really think she was intending on pushing him in and he knew it...these little almost 4 yr olds are pushing the limits lately!

The dinner for Gwendolyn's bday looked lovely. SHe looked l ike a proud sister looking at Ashton while he tried to eat with those chopsticks!

Thought about you today while doing my grocery shopping. The Louisiana strawberries are now showing up in Rouse's.

We had a really nice evening for Gwendolyn's bday...just ordered way too much food. We were not sure about my parents and Danny.
We have strawberry growers all over on the side the roads...the Strawberry festival is coming in two weekends! they are all getting ready for that...you guys should travel up here and enjoy the fun!

It has been so long since I've been to Universal - your pics make me want to go back!

We cannot go to Orlando with visiting both WDW and US/IOA I just wish we could have figured in a way to add SW...but that money was spent on our Nashville trip...so no loss there; we were able to meet Leanne, Joe and the girls.
We do enjoy US/IOA it does have some fun attractions

Wow that is truly terrible. I cannot believe how some people behave, even towards their own family. I hope everything works out and the punishment fits the crime.

Connie, that is terrible about your aunt. I used to be a bank manager and it always amazed me that most fraud was done by family members. The bas part is/was that they usually woudn't press charges since it was a family member. They would just expect the bank to take the loss. I am so glad that yoru aunt is pressing charges, though- poor thing!

Connie, I'm glad to hear that your Aunt made up her mind to press charges. I just hope that you get a helpful Officer/Assistant District Attorney who will keep a handle on the situation. Being in the legal field, I see a lot of those kinds of things just get put to the side. Does your local office have a Crimes Against The Elderly office? I know the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office does.

I'm glad your family convinced your Aunt to press charges. What a horrible thing for the cousin to do. Like Mary said....special place for those type of folks.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes for my aunt. I brought her yesterday to have her affadavit's notorized and had her fitted a new pair of shoes. She does not really want to go forward against my cousin but feels my cousin did it to herself (you think! ) Anyway, mom and dad went today to file the report with the Parish police and it is being turned over to the Economic crimes division...so, we did our part now it is up to the D.A.

So sorry to hear about your aunt and identity theft! What an awful thing! It's so nice of you to help her out!! The pictures of the kids playing outside are so cute!! Outdoor pics always turn out the best for me too! I have a pic of me and my brother WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in 1992 sitting in that Flintstone's car!! That one made me laugh!!!

I can't believe we are so close to being in WDW
Tomorrow Gwendolyn plans to pay her room at the POP and I hope US/IOA...I plan to call them tomorrow and take care of our portion of that room and I can officially say thisportion of the trip is paid for!!! All rooms!! so, all we have left is the things that are going to be OOP when we get there!

I hope the "UP" characters are there for us this year. Last year when Ashton & I walked through only Sorccer Mickey was there and the CM had closed the line on us. Some one on the dis said they go straight through the gift shop we may try that this year.
