I did not cook tonight; I told Danny I wanted boiled shrimp. He was going to go pick up the shrimp for me to cook, but Dayne went out with friends, Gwendolyn was not up for it. So, we went to this little hole in the wall buffet they only charge $9.99...they do not have much to choose from (mainly boiled and fried seafood and Ashton and Danny loves their seafood gumbo). But, they have the best boiled shrimp and crabs; it would cost us more not to mention the mess to do it ourselves aaannnndddd they have little friend doughnuts they are denser than beignets but close to get that fix...so, I'm waiting for Danny to get out of the shower and we are going put the movie on in our room (Gwendolyn has a stomach virus so we are trying to stay away from her)...

you need to try the above receipe for Dallas and sneak just one...put the rest on his plate or split between all the guys in your house...

I am going to do the cheater version of beignets for Dallas. I think he will love them. He loved the funnel cake at Mardi Gras so the beignets will go over pretty good.

We'll be staying at POR, and we will be in EPCOT on the 28th (probably around lunch time if I'm estimating Magical Express and check-in times correctly), so maybe we'll run into you there! I guess I need to add something lime green to our shopping list!

I was thinking of trying to make a bag to carry and than thought I'm not going to use it again for five years might be a waste of time and effort. So, I'm back to thinking about it...

QUICK UPDATE:
OUR TICKETS FOR UNIVERSAL CAME IN SATURDAY!

Wednesday the 16th was Gwendolyn's 22 bday...she wanted everyone to go to a Japanese resturant; well, to say my dad and Danny were funny is an understatment. But, Ashton on the other hand was precious with the chopsticks...I need to load a few photos.

Than, Dayne on Friday night took his cast off so he could play in the finals. I was furious we did not go to his first game--which they won he scored 15 of the 25 points. Danny and I were torn on weather or not to go to the second game. We did not want him to think we supported his bad decision to remove his cast but at the same time felt this was his last game. Well, because I was there his coach did not give him a lot of playing time; when he was in the game they were in the lead. He played the entire last quarter and they were hanging in there point for point and two of his team mates reached their 5 fouls which left Dayne to carry the game with the younger players. You could see he was in alot of pain they ended up losing to the only undefeated team of the season by 4 points. He says he has no regrets about removing his cast and that he was able to finish his last season; we will see if he still feels that way on the 30th when he goes back to the doctor.

As for our trip; not much to report on that front I think I will recap my week and go over any changes I for see the TG numbers have been changing and to the better for us as we get closer so I have been very happy about that. We are also eagerly awaiting news this week on the Harry Potter news.

Yea! for getting your Universal Studios tickets in. Doesn't it make you feel all giddy when you get stuff like that? Makes the vacation seem all the more real.

Hum....I think I'd probably have felt like you and Danny....not knowing what to do about going to Dayne's basketball game. I guess in the end, he was happy that he took the cast off and could play in the final game. I have to admit though I'd have had to give him a good talking to about removing the cast by himself and early to boot!

Hi there Connie!

I guess I can see why Dayne wanted to play. It was the last game...kind of a rite of passage. At some point you have to just let them make the choice and live with the consequences, I guess. I would have been just as worried and torn about it as you were though!

Yay for Universal tickets! I love getting Trip Mail.....I kind of stalk the mailbox when I'm planning a trip, just in case something comes!
