We are so ready

After setting the countdown clock at 416 days (Yikes!) we are finally 6 days away from BCV and 2 days away from Florida. It was painful watching that clock for the last 14 months.

We are soooooo ready!

Eleven days away from OKW for us. I love that we're within the 15 day window. Every morning I rush to see the latest weather report and dream about what we'll be doing on the newest day they've put up.

1 Day to go to Florida - now the downside

My chores (per DW):

1. Cut the grass
2. Put down fertilizer
3. Take dog to the Canine College Boarding School
4. Where are my sunglasses?
5. Pack - where is my bathing suit / flip flops? I had them just last year
6. Get the car washed. Horrible if someone on the Cross County Parkway sees us in a dirty car going to the airport. OK the logic of this one just excapes me.
7. Leave at 3pm for an 8pm flight. I'm not going to even ask.
8. Go to the bank and get money for shopping. Who me??

DW Chores

1. Do the dishes.
2. Clean the kitchen (she will be darned if she is coming home to an unkept kitchen).
3. Four loads of laundry
4. Pack DS's suitcase.
5. Where is his autograph book / Hidden Mickey book?
6. Buy three bottles of sunblock.
7. Check every room, every door.
8. Hit the can for no reason.
9. Stare at the house as we leave.

All our chores:

1. Wonder what we forgot.

Vacations are sooooo much fun starting out. And of course sitting in Nana's condo for three days in Boca is just thrilling.
