I got the idea, of course, off this board and you would think we are the first do it. We have to explain every time we talk to them what we are trying to do. We booked our airfare for this trip before we bought in, or I am thinking we wouldn't have even tried a December trip. We are waitlisted from December 5-11 at each resort for a 2 bedroom. We have gotten 3 nights this way, which is far better then what we would have gotten had I not waitlisted day by day. We still stay on the waitlist for the days we have gotten, as we are hoping maybe in Sept. we can get a block of days somewhere, instead of 3 different resorts. This is where they get confused.
We obviously don't want to lose our points, so if we have to stay at a bunch of different resorts that week, we will! Our guide thinks September there will be cancellations once people finalize their plans, I hope she is right, this is getting stressful.
