We are on the road

Days 19 of our 29 day trip.
Yesterday was a fun day here at PBIR. There was 1 race to run. A few human interaction glitches held everything up for a while. Some people just refuse to follow the rules.
Anyhow, the track also threw a party for all of us. It was great. The food was fabulous.
They also had a casino party, with all proceeds benefiting the Darrell Gwynn Project.
A couple of golf cart races and the day was done.
Today is day 20 of our 29 day trip.
This is the last race day here at PBIR. 1 1/4 mile race and the 2010 Winter Series is in the books.
Davis Race Engines had great showings the past 2 years, but not so much this year. Hopefully, our drivers will have better luck next year. These races attract the best drivers from all over the country.
Anyhow, I finally get to say, CHECK IN AT THE FORT TOMORROW!
I am so excited!

Days 20 and 21 of our 29 day trip.
We finished up racing at PBIR on Saturday.
Cleaned and packed up the MH and got ready to move on.
We checked into the Fort yesterday about 1:30. I had done the online checkin. I really think that it does speed things along. NO Hassle.
We are in site 831. Great site. Very quite.
Spent the afternoon doing laundry and decorating and getting set up.
Went to dinner at the Cape May Cafe. YUM!
Turned in early. Got to get ready to feel the magic.

Have lots of fun and will be checking for updates on crowd levels.
Love college football and WDW!

I was thinking about you guys last night being there while on the lap top grouping pics together. I will be sending you some pics in a day or two. Sent the Casino Night pics to the track office last night. I will be sending the golf cart pics and the 5th day winner plus the overall winner in tonight.

It was great meeting you and Gil and look forward to everyone returning for next years event.

Enjoy this week. Boy i really need to get back there.

What???... no daily updates... :) :) :) Pics have been sent to email of Will's car and the night pic of all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving

Days 22 thru 27.
Sorry for the absence, but I soaking up every moment of magic that I could.
We spent time in Epcot and introduced Illuminations to friends of ours that ended up going to the Fort with us.
We spent an entire day at SeaWorld with those same friends and actually met up with some friends of our that relocated to the Bradenton area from Maryland.
We spent some time in the Magic Kingdom and showed our friends the Main Street Electrical Parade and the magic of the Wishes Fireworks display. Needless, to say, they loved it.
We spent the rest of time hanging around the Fort. Fishing and relaxing. Cocktails and Fireworks on the beach at nite.
Now we are on I95 N headed home where todays high temperature was to be 44. UGH!
We should be home sometime tomorrow.
The good news is.......I already have my ressies for next year. YAY!!!!!
Oh, and Sundial, We have a few surprises up our sleeves for you next year!

As usual, we had the best time ever. Funny how that happens every time that we go to the Fort.
As much as I love the parks and all of the magic they hold, I love the Fort Wilderness magic just as much. It is so hard to explain the relaxed, comfortable feeling. It really is like going home.
I go fishing. I never catch anything, but I don't care. I just sittin in the sun fishing!!

This is the last day of our trip. I can't believe how fast the time went.
We are now about 3 hours (1 more fuel stop included) from home. We are in the Baltimore area, my computer says that the current temp is 39.
What great memories I bring home with me.
I made some new FRIENDS. You all know who you are.
Now let me see, 11 months and 3 days until I head back...................................
