Day 6 of our 29 day trip.
They did get 1 race finished yesterday. Unfortunately, the winner was not one of our customers.
It was just to cold to start another race last nite.
The forecast is for it to be even colder today. UGH!
They say they are going to try to run 2 today.
I have my doubts. There is a freeze warning for tonite.
Checkin at the Fort November 21st.

You can never count on the weather, here in new england we have saying, " If you don't like the weather, just wait, I'll change" hope your luck changes too....

unusually cold weather for the deep south - sorry about your races! I'll never forget the one year I got to go to Summer Nationals in San Antonio, TX.... what an incredible display of power and control - amazing.

OK, we're just above Ocala, on the way to the Fort.... hoping for an early Sunday morning checkin. And for our old dog to be happy in the RV while we're in the parks - it's his first Disney trip.

Day 7 of our 29 day trip.
They combined the 3 remaining race a split them into 2 races paying $25000 each.
We did finish yesterdays race before it got to cold last nite. Again, not one of ours.
Today, we are running a $25000 to win race. The last here at Valdosta.
I won't be sad to see Georgia in my rear view mirror.
Although, it is supposed to go back up into the 70's here tomorrow. Doesn't it figure?

Day 8 of our 29 day trip.
We have left Valdosta GA. It was to cold there for me.
We are now headed down I75S going to a chassis shop in Wildwood FL to pick up a new dragster.
I can feel it getting warmer each mile south we go. YAY!

New car wasn't ready. They will deliver it to us here at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
This is a down day for us.
Day 1 of the 5 day series is tomorrow.
It is sunny and warm and sooooo wonderful!

I thought "all people of all genders associated with the art of engine building" liked the cold weather. Makes for a denser charge and lower et's.

Day 11 of our 29 day trip.
Another absolutely beautiful day is South Florida. Sunny with a cloud floating by every now and again and nice light breeze.
An old friend that relocated from PA. to TN. was runner-up in the $10,000. to win race last night.
And a friend NJ. won a new dragster chassis in a 32 car race last nite.
The new dragster was delivered to the track today! YAY!
Running 1st round of todays 1/4 mile race now.
Will run a 1/8 mile race after that one is over.

Day 12 of our 29 day trip.
The weather here in Bradenton is beautiful. A little more breezy today, but fabulous.
I don't know the guy that won the 1/4 mile race yesterday, but the same friend that won the chassis on Wednesday, won the 1/8 mile race last nite.
Still working bugs out of new dragster. She is running pretty fast.
Running 2 races again today.

Day 13 of our 29 day trip.
The racing is really tight here in Bradenton. Our customers keep coming oh so close, however no final rounds yet. One more race day left here. We are still hopeful for a victory picture.
The weather is gorgeous. I'm working on getting tan lines to last thru spring.

The last day of racing at Bradenton, then on to West Palm Beach.

We have moved on to West Palm Beach.
This is my first visit to Palm Beach International Raceway since the big overhaul and WOW what a difference. This place is beautiful.
Hopefully, our luck will be different here.
This is a down day for us. Laundry and nails.

Day 16 and 17 of our 29 day trip.
I met my disney freak equal here at PBIR.
Thank you Ed for understanding my obsession. And thanks for the 2005 New years eve top hat. I love it.
Anyhow, we have completed 2 days of racing. Three remain and then

Day 18 of our 29 day trip.
Other than our first day at South Georgia Motorsports Park this is our first day with a rain delay in the entire trip.
Everything is very far behind here. We will see if we get anything done tonite.

Yes we got it done tonight. Outside of the rain delay and the stopage for the medical issue the last car went down the track just before 1am. Just about a 17 hour day today. Off to get a couple of hours sleep and head back to the track at 7:30. Mickey should knock at your door at 8.
