Does "everything" include all the roller coasters?

Can you do early entry?

Being able to do early entry is the biggest key to being able to do everything by 2 pm. LOL

This was our strategy without coasters for our day in August. Remember though, it was VERY crowded when we went...how crowded? Pirates was probably over an hour wait by 11 am.

If you can do early entry, the first place you should head is Fantasyland and Peter Pan. Do all the rides in Fantasyland by the time the rest of the park is ready to open. Just as the rest of the park opens up, go to the rope drop at Frontierland to do Pirates of the Caribbean (more people seem to crowd around Adventureland's rope instead of Frontierland to get to New Orleans Square). Then head off and do the coasters (fast pass it?). Big Thunder won't have much of a crowd after Pirates so maybe getting a fast pass to Space Mountain or Splash Mountain (does it have a fast pass). Or a fast pass for Buzz.

The key to all of this is doing Fantasyland during early entry. If you don't...you'll never be able to do Peter Pan, Mr. Toad or the Teacups.

yes, everything includes roller coasters... lol... i love them..lol:). no my mom and i cannot do early entry due to us having annual passes, but my friend could, but i think her parents would KILL us...lol

I think we are going to do Fantasyland and ToonTown on the LAST day in the park, because of 2 things
1. i would rather wait in like for like space mtn then for peter pan any day
2. if we dont make it on those rides, it wouldnt be a big deal (on the last day) then rather on the 1st 2 days if you know what i mean....
I think we picked pretty good days to go tp the park, tues weds and thurs... the park opens at 10 am. how early do you think we should get there? right when the park opens?

If the park opens at 10am, get to the gates by 9:30, hang out around Main Street, close to the rope- at 10am the rope will drop- and high tail it to Fatnasy Land- on the days you're going, you are most likely to have longer lines there than at the coasters, as at that time mommies of little ones will be there who have passes and do the park before nap time. You can get ALL FL rides done in less than 2 hrs if you do this. Do PP, Mr Toad, Dumbo, TeaCups, Storybook Land Boats, Alice first, Casey Jr doesn't usually have a long wait, and Pinocchio and SNow White NEVER have a line. After that, go to Toontown, ride Roger Rabbit CarToon Spin. Then get FP for Space or Splash (Splash usually has longest lines) Mtns. If you allot 2 days for DL and one for DCA you should be fine- get there before park opening and you'll get to do everything at least once

I think we are only doing 1/2 a day at DCA due to her only wanting to do the hollywood pics back lot and paradise pier.... so we figure on the 1st day we will go to DCA and do that till like after the lunch rush, then head to DL and stay there the rest of the day... when we go w/ my family, we (my mom and I) only head to CA for the water ride.. then back to DL... i dont really like CA but my friends my guest so i have to do what she wants to do. but ill make sure to do things that want to do, i mean i dont want to get bored and not want to do anything.. i have gone every month since december 2006..lol... and so i could get bored eaisly. like i said i think we are gonna do FL and Toon Town last.. just in case the park is too busy on the other 2 days....

One thing that surprised me was how much I enjoyed the Block Party Bash parade at DCA. If you're hopping back to DL after lunch, make sure you hop back to DCA for that parade. Stand by Golden Dreams (when we went the parade arrived there at 5:30 pm but you should check your schedule) and the fun begins!

Two of the cars from Cars (I don't know their names...the lead cars) come out about 45 minutes before the main parade.

After that, the toy soldiers from Toy Story also do a schtick with the kids.

Here is a sampling of photos.
