Ohhhhhhh I am sooooo jealous!:) We're here waiting on yet another storm starting tomorrow morning with freezing rain, ice pellets and rain!

Hope you have the greatest time!!! And please bring a little warmth and sunshine back with you will ya?;) :thumbsup2 :flower3:

Hope you have a great trip! Isn't it so nice to be sitting there reporting to all of us here......ahhhhh, I can't wait to do that!! :)

I'll be right over! heeheehee.

ENJOY! S

Enjoy and bring some of that warmth and sunshine back with you - another darn storm hitting here today - supposed to be lots of freezing rain!

Have the best trip!! Please bring some of that warmth back to all of us. We have a LONG wait until we get back. Think of us all, we are waiting for more terrible weather.

Have a great time. How are the crowds? We went last year at this same time and had no problem with crowds. We had more crowds this year at the end of January, beginning of February.

Hey Belle, we are headed there on Saturday. How are the crowds. I hear it is going to cool off for a few days. No worries since we are there for 2 weeks. Let me know if the lineups are huge.

Enjoy your trip. It will be a little more than 5 months till we get back to Disney. Thankfully my DH and I leave for Cuba on Sunday and can get a way from this lovely weather we are having.

Well, day 2 is over and it was an absolutely marvelous one spent at Epcot. Arrived at 9:00 a.m. and left exactly 12 hours later. (Didn't stay for Illuminations this time, kids wanted a swim before bed).
Quick highlights of some new things for our family:
Had dinner at Biergarten for the first time and it was great.
Kids baked choc chip cookies in the Land pavillion.
Both kids got candy animals made for them by Miyuaki (sp?) in Japan.
Nemo ride was cute.
Crowds and weather could not have been better. Temp varied between 74 at wake-up and 85 at its highest. Crowds were light to very light. No problems with waits for rides at all, our longest wait was 10 min. Had Test track, Mission Space and Soarin', all ridden before 10:15. Walking around World Showcase was great with no crowds either.

I see southern Ontario is being hit by some nasty winter weather. Thats really too bad!!!
If it makes you all feel better, its only going to get up to 81 here tomorrow and there will be a few clouds in front of the sun!
Off to AK tomorrow!

Take care and be safe in that weather,
Gina,
Belle 1627

Hi Gina,

Glad you're having such a wonderful time - sounds like a perfect combination of great weather and light crowds. Have fun at the Animal Kingdom today. We're flying down tomorrow (can't wait!!) Bring on that warm weather!!!!!!

MouseGirl

We are flying down tomorrow too! Glad to hear the crowds aren't too bad. :cheer2:

I hear we are bringing along cooler weather but only for a few days and then back to hot and sunny!

If you get a chance, let us know about any "dream come true" moments - hope they have found you!princess:

Hello fellow Canadians,

We went to AK yesterday, the weather was perfect and again the crowds were light to very light. My kids were chosen to be the curtain callers for Flights of Wonder, which was so cute, then we got front row seats for the show. The kids got YOMD certificate and a bird model thingy. My dd got picked for YOMD and received pins. She was thrilled. She was given 2 pins and told to give the other to someone else to make their dream come true. It was so cute. IT was a great day. Today we went to Kennedy Space Centre (my dm wanted to go). She loved it as did my dh, I am not to into that kind of stuff, my kids thought it was pretty cool though. We saw the space shuttle still on the loading dock, it is being moved tomorrow due to the damage from a hail storm. The crowds there were very light, the weather was cool today though, pants and long sleeves. It is raining right now (9:20 pm). My dh and ds are going to swim with the dolphins tomorrow at Discovery Cove. Me, dd and dm are going to do some shopping. Then on Monday it is a big day, DD is going to the BBB, Alice's tea party, dinner at CRT then the PPP. It is alot in one day but due to many factors this was the only way.

P.S. W went and met our DVC guide and he said that he will take us to see the AKL DVC resort next week, get a sneak peak!! We are looking forward to it.

Anyway, I'll check in again on another day. Take care all!!!!

:goodvibes

It sounds like you are having so much fun!! Only 52 more days for us!:lmao:

Hi everyone,

Sounds like you had a nice day today, Belle1627. We just arrived tonight - checked into our pool home at Emerald Island Resort, picked up groceries, and heading to bed shortly. We're off to MGM Studios tomorrow. Looking forward to the first day of our trip at WDW!!!!

Take care everyone,
MouseGirl
