Wednesday - July 21 - Sunny - 98F and above
This was our first Epcot day. We woke up, ate breakfast and got ready.
By 11am, we were leaving the hotel. We took the monorail to the TTC, then the monorail to Epcot.
Our first stop in Future World was Club Cool. We had tricked my dad in trying the Beverly last year, so my mom and I decided to let him get his revenge. We both tasted it. I didn't remember how nasty that is. People can't seriously drink this! It's like drinking cleaning products!!
We then were on our way to World Showcase. We had a dinner ressie at "Chefs de France". But before we went there, we watched the O' Canada movie. We love that movie. Martin Short is so funny. I love him in Father of the Bride so much!
It was almost time for our reservation. So we headed to France and checked-in. We were seated right away in the little veranda you see beside the fountain. It was so empty. Only 3-4 tables were occupied.
My dad had some pork thingy which he liked. My mom had the Quiche Lorraine which she said was alright. But she'd had better. And I had the French macaroni which was alright. But I make a better one hehehe For dessert I had the profiteroles...yummm!!!! And my dad had a vanilla creme brulée. Which he said was the best of the trip.
Just as we were going to eat our dessert, Remy came by. So cute and funny. You can see the link to the video on the first page. At the corner table, there was a group of 3 ladies. They almost seemed like business ladies. Well 2 of them were so unimpressed by Remy. They paid no attention to him. While the other only told him he was cute. He spent like 20 min there.
All in all, it was a good meal. Especially the dessert. But we are not sure if we want to go again.
After that, we decided to walk off our meal by heading to Japan.
We shopped a bit, and then I saw that Miyuki was going to start soon. So I went to get a spot to watch her. She picked me and my suggestion of a dragon. Sadly, I couldn't take the candy home. She was not giving them away. We could only get a pic. I was a bit sad. After all these trips, I finally get picked and can't take it home. After all, what would I have done with it. I noticed something that wasn't there before on the table. It said that the candy was on display only and not to be eaten. Weird
We walked back to the UK, and I browsed the shops while my parents went to sit in the park. As I went back to see them, the British Invasion was starting. So we sat there and just hung out, and listened to some great music.
