Yep! We gave up after noon. We were there for park opening, did a handfull of rides, got wet and miserably cold and headed back to our room to get warm and dry.
We are waiting to see if the rain lets up enough for F! tonight. Otherwise, we'll just eat at MiMi's and stay in the hotel room tonight.
I hear it's supposed to dry up tomorrow, but it's gonna be COLD!! And I'm supposed to meet a friend for EE. Eeeek!
Tomorrow is supposed to be 59. That is pretty chilly for Southern California weather, although having it being referred to as "cold' cracks me up. I hope the weather cooperates for you all!

I'm sorry you all got soaked. But the no waiting is nice. LOL
When we used to live about 45 minutes from DL, we'd purposely plan our visits on rainy days. We'd come prepared with ponchos, umbrellas, hats, boots, etc.
It was great. Some of my best memories were being at DL in the rain. There were times when it was so deserted it felt like we practically had the park to ourselves.
But that was a little different. Being there unprepared would not be much fun. Hopefully the weather clears up soon!
It wasn't too bad. We arrived about 12:30 and stayed until 5... it only drizzled mostly.
Now, this morning we attempted to drive all the way to Legoland, and arrived to find that the park was closed! Their main phone line and website did not indicate any closure.... and after fighting accidents and the weather down the freeways, it really was not cool to find the park closed.
I felt like I was in the middle of a Chevy Chase movie except there was no moose to punch....
At least you're at Disney! Other wise, you'd be experiencing the same thing (cold and wet) back home here in AZ. Hope the weather clears up for you soon. Enjoy your trip!
I can remember being at the DLR in the rain. The only negative part of it was trying to keep the kids shoes somewhat dry, other than that it was great. The hand dryers in some of the bathrooms can be a blessing for wet cold bottoms!
