We are finally going back, and no, we are NOT driving! A May/June 2013 PTR

Since both girls have been sick this week (DD5 finally went back to school today, DD8 not til Friday at the soonest), I really needed something to cheer me up! Well this arrived on my porch today - best return address ever!:

And how cute is the inside of the box - just so much Disney magic!

I just may have placed an order on New Year's Day - they had free shipping with no minimum order! Not that I really needed anything, but they had some fun new shirts (hey, that's one less that I need to make!) and I wanted to get DD5 some shoes and a headband to wear with her Snow White costume. The headband was on clearance - yipee! Here is what I got:

Trying to fight the urge to place another order tonight - they are offering the free shipping again, and I have my eye on a cute shirt for ME! I do have some Christmas money - not the Disney giftcard - burning a hole in my pocket, but I am sure I will find something cuter in Disney World, right?

So I was going through some stuff today, and I forgot to take pics of my bracelets I got! They are not with the Disney stuff because I wear them regularly. You can see that they are not Disney per se, but I bought them specifically for Disney! A friend of mine had a jewelry party, and the gal made these special order for me. I am really happy how they turned out, and because we are Husker fans, they work perfectly for me to wear them other times!

Here is a close up of the beads on one of them, it was hard to tell in the other pic, but there are polka dots on the big beads! I may or may not LOVE Minnie Mouse...

Not really anything else new to share - we are currently under quarantine here - both girls are sick, and have missed the first 2 days back at school since Christmas! Hoping the DD5 can get back to tschool tomorrow. She has not run a fever all day, but DD8 was running a fever again as I put her to bed - and she has been taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen all day, and can't have anymore yet. I disinfected every possible surface today!

I just got something from the Disney store and thought the box was (almost) the best part! Definitely a good day when something from that site shows up on my door step.

YOU LEAVE IN TWO DAYS! Whew, sorry, got a little excited for someone I have never even met... But really, can't wait to hear about your trip - especially the food - we have several of the same meals planned!! And I definitely agree about the Disney box - when I opened mine, even my DD8 said "wow!" and she had not even seen what was inside!

We will be down there June1-7 but we will be at Universal and SeaWorld. My boys have been become traitors and have asked to go back to the Darkside. If I get my way, I am adding two days to the end of our trip to stay at Pop Century. I don't know if I can go all the way to Orlando and not set foot on Disney property. I love all your crafts and purchases. The countdown chain is super cute. I am going to try and make one for our trip, even if we don't get to add on the 2 Pop Century days. And I hope you get the Dessert Party. We went 2 years ago and loved it.

We are getting so close! It does not seem like that long ago we were over 300 days. Glad you are enjoying my ramblings! I love sharing my ideas and getting feedback! You definitely want to check out the dessert party thread, we are really hoping to do it. It will be a surprise for our girls!

I wanted to go to universal sooooo bad. DH and I are huge HP fans. I think our girls are still too young though. I am determined to go the next time we go down, hopefully when our youngest is at least 8. Hope you enjoy your vaca and my PTR!

Of course, this was no last minute decision - could it really be considered last minute if my trip isn't for 4 months? - anywho, I have been researching the different photopass options, and the plus just made sense for us. We are going for 11 days - 10 of which will be in parks, and we have the dining plan - so lots of character meals. I kicked myself for not getting the photopass preorder for our last trip when we had so many great pics - and that was just a 3 day trip! When the price dropped, I think it was in December, we discussed it some more, and it just made sense. I always want to get the ride photos, but they are so expensive, and we have 4 character meals where the photos are not included, so the extra $30 was really worth it! Plus, I am so excited to actually be in my photos that I scrapbook! It came in exactly 7 days, not bad! Now to wait for my maps and my REAL Mickey mail!

We went in June a few years back and while it turned out we decided we prefer late August, June was fine.
Yes, I actually did just say we PREFER August. LOL! But it's hot in June and hot in August, it's just faaaar less crowded in late August when we go so we suck up the scorching temps.

Thanks so much! Our last trip was late June/early July, and we were fairly miserable, but we also did the parks from open til close, so I know that makes a big difference! August scares me, plus it seems like the kiddos go back to school earlier and earlier. Last year (as in 2012, so this school year) they went back on August 14th, and next year, they go back on the 13th! My DD's first year of school, the first day was actually on her birthday (the 19th)! I do however, like that they are out before Memorial Day! Hoping the weather cooperates with this trip though! Our next trip, yes I am already planning that one, will be probably the first week of December, so a completely different time!

Ugh. Been sick for the last week, finally starting to feel better. I think the sickness is finally leaving our household...knock on wood! I may or may not have done some online shopping while bedridden... But what else was I supposed to do?
